Do your pets get dressed up for Halloween?

Harley is going to be attending his first Halloween party, and I am not sure what to dress him up as! I am looking for cheap costumes, but haven't found anything that struck me just yet.

The Disney ones are cute, but Im not sure he'd tolerate them... or if they are small enough.

Do your pets get into the action? What have they been in the past? Where did you find their costumes?

Cannot say i`ve ever tried this with 3 scratchy cats....They have very sharp teeth & claws...Dunno whether i`d be brave enough even thinking about this....

Well last year we did put a cowboy style bandanna on both of them (Lab and mini poodle) and they loved it!

This year, I'm not sure if we we go further or not.

I have a 110lb Shepard/Lab mix. I got him a ballarina costume last year at Wal-Mart. It had a pink ankle length tu-tu, slippers(booties) and a tiara all for 5.99. It was fantastic. He was the hit of the neighborhood and they thought it was even funnier because it was a he and not a she.

I also got him an Elvis costume which I think he might wear this year.

Of course he LOVES the any attention he gets and he was extremely happy on Halloween. My husband was a little upset that I made him a ballarina but..

DH's office goes all out for Halloween with a lunch and costume contest. Last year he went as a Man in Black and took our pug, Tia, in full-on Frank the Dog costume (we found it online). She was the hit of the party! They even made a special honorary award for her and the whole office was fighting over who got to take her on walks all day long. She just ate it up and she was SO cute! I can't find my pic at the moment, but if I do I'll post it here.

I do dress my furkids up every year. This year Lizzie will be a queen - a costume that I bought after halloween last year. On my WDW vacation I picked up a Mickey Mouse costume for my dog - Mickey Mouse and a Snow White costume for America. All 3 dogs are lab mix size dogs. I don't think the dogs really like it much, but the kids that come trick-or-treating love it.

Heck my dog is lucky I even let him live here never mind dressing him up for Halloween LOL!! If I had it my way he would have been history long ago...he is my daughters dog though and she loves him so he stays....he is acutally the only dog I have ever owned that I really don't like, I loved all my other dogs except this guy.

you're kidding, right???? What self respecting dog would be caught dead in a tutu or an Elvis costume??? LOL He's probably waiting for just the right opportunity for a pay back, like a nice big dump right on your bed.

LOL April!! What makes him so unloveable? =)

Those pics are great!! I am just not sure he'll wear anything on his head - he freaks when anyone goes near it usually. I was told that some Targets are carrying $5 pet costumes, ours isn't, but I will be visiting another when I get a chance to see if any of those fit the bill =)
