We are doing a split stay on site/off site. Does your travel dates have to match your specific reservations day to use it?

To "use it"...what is "it"? DME? Something else?

For DME, you can use any point during your on-site reservation. So, if your off-site stay is first, you can return to MCO on the day your Disney reservation starts and use DME, but you cannot use DME before your Disney reservation starts because you're not a Disney resort guest yet. You can use DME anytime during your Disney resort stay to return to MCO.

Yes dme? But I think,I read somewhere it does have to match your exact dates.

You have to be a resort guest at the time you want to use DME and each guest gets one round trip per reservation. However, you don't necessarily have to use DME on check in and or check out day or have flown to MCO to use it. Can you be more specific as to what you are thinking of doing?

You can not use DME before your check-in day or after your check-out day.

Yes and no

My boyfriend routinely takes DME to and from the airport on days other then check in or check out. It is no problem for him to arrive late or leave early

But we could not move to the Swan for a few days and take DME to the airport at the end of our stay there.

Basically you can get DME ANY day during your Disney reservation, but not prior to or after the stay.

As long as you have a current, active WDW resort reservation, you get one ride from mco to your WDW owned resort and one ride back mco. You do not have to take DME on the day your reservation starts, or take it back on the last day of the reservation.

But your rides must occur on dates included in your reservation. You don't get a ride before or after those dates
