My DS has been pretending to work at Disney all week, it's so cute! He has been walking around saying have a magical day. LOL What job positions have they been? DS has been at the front desk at WL (I think it was the Samantha Brown special on WL that I played over the weekend) and he is also maintenance for WL. Anyone have a child that did eventually grow up and work for Disney?

My DS (4) pretends all the time that he is the CM that works at POC. My DH and I have to get in the boat while he gives us the rules (Keep your feet, hands, arms in the boat, etc.) He even says "No flash photography please". It cracks us up, because he has not heard this since December and still remembers the details. He also quotes the monorail message randomly!!

That is so cute. My kids don't pretend to be a CM, but I think its so funny when we are out in a store or something not Disney, and my kids refer to the workers as Cast Members. :rotfl2:

Our DD does the parade, she will take our cats ball of yarn and wrap it around chairs and furniture. The first time this happened I asked what she was doing and she said she was setting up for the parade, she would then tell us that we had to stay behind the rope. She would then push her stroller and wave at us as she goes by:love:. But when the parade is over somehow my DW and I are now CMs because we have to take the rope down:laughing:

My DS4 often performs Disney on Ice shows with our fireplace hearth being the stage. He turns around all the dining room chairs to face the fireplace and asks the audience to "Please take your seats". Sometimes Disney Movie or rides become part of the Disney on Ice routine!

I few weeks ago I made a comment DH and DS to keep their fingers crossed that I get a good job with "disney money" (as in enough money to go back to WDW). DS said, "maybe you could get a job at Disney World cleaning the restrooms or something. That would be a good job." Not exactly what I was thinking...

I heard my boys pretenting their GeoTrax train was either the monorail or the tram one day. They had an elaborate track set up with the train station as one of the parks entrance...telling people to stay seated until they came to a complete stop and to watch small children and steer clear of the doors while they open. :rotfl: It was pretty cute.

About a year or so ago I got to direct traffic during parade seating and I got to use the light up stick thing and my little sister got to do it too she was so happy to wave that little light stick around telling people where to go just waving it back and forth.

These are all so cute!
My DD3's favorite game at the moment is playing "seeing characters". She does all sorts of characters, princesses, mickey, minnie, pooh, tigger, peter pan, anybody she's seen at WDW. She'll say, "you be Ariel and I'll be the kid seeing Ariel", then she gets in queue and I have to say "next" and she runs up and gives me a hug, I ask her her name and where she's from and she asks if I'll sign my name for her, and I have to sign my name, then she turns around and says "cheese" for a picture. She's really got the whole routine down pat! :rotfl:

My ds5 wants to be the monorail driver. He talks about it a lot. Other days, he sits at the table with his Legos 'building Disney World.' He builds a few 'rides' and has lots of Lego people to fill in the role of cast members and guest.

My boys have their own imaginary Disneyland park in our city. The older one is the CEO and the younger one is the executive VP (he also likes to run the Jungle Cruise ride which has real animals). They hired me a few months ago to be the media spokesperson since I have a background in PR. They pay me $5000 an hour! They offered me $10,000 an hour but I said I would do it for half that and they were thrilled. Dad is in charge of music and entertainment since he's a singer and chorus director. Once in a while, the park has "situations" that we all have to discuss. One time, there was a stampede on Main Street because some of the Jungle Cruise animals escaped. I had to issue a public statement and we had to give lots of Fast Passes and even a few refunds. Yes, imagination runs rampant in our house!:lmao:
