Do your kids have a swimming pool fixation?

We were at WDW 6/2 - 6/9 and we constantly heard "Can we go swimming now?" "How about now?" The weather didn't help since several days it rained just as we got to the hotel for a break or when we got back at night. They still managed to swim almost everyday.

I don't get it. These are kids who swim everyday, all summer at home. My DD8 has been to WDW before but my sister's three were on their first trip and were absolutely fixated on the pool.

They usually just want to swim at least once while we are at WDW to try out the pool.

That's all we heard last July. They can swim anytime at home and all they wanted to do was go back to the resort and swim.

DS & I were just discussing it today. "mom, make sure you plan for pool time!"

Our first day at WDW we went to Blizzard Beach youngest DS cried the whole way there because we told him we were going swimming and walked right past the pool. It was the focus of his days

Kinda like my DDs fixation on bathrooms. No matter where we go she has to investigate the bathrooms!!
