Do you...

I'm a guy so the soap bar gets all the mileage with me (Shampoo? Isn't he at seaworld?)

We never let the housekeepers in most of the trip but they always leave extra towels and soap on the door each day they don't clean.

I bring extra shampoo & conditioner. We usually are ok with the hotel's shampoo, but it's good to have extra. The hotel's conditioner is never enough. My DD has long hair & needs lots of conditioner. So I guess it depends on how many people you have with you & the type & length of hair of each.

Ibring my own. I get a Brazilian Blowout done right before we go and can't use shampoos with sulfates.

I always bring my own! I have a lot of hair, which is very thick, so I need something pretty strong to make sure it is done properly. I will use the shampoo/conditioner that Mousekeeping leaves in case I run out. If not, I always bring it home with me!

It's really personal preference - do whatever you think!

I bring my own. We pack the Kids' stuff from Home as well. My Husband just uses the stuff in the Room.

I do growl at the Husband when he uses it, because it's one less that gets packed in the Suitcase and added to my collection.

I bring my own. I'm a hair product snob though. :snooty: My hair is fine (which makes it look greasy with bad conditioner) but I have a TON of it so I need a conditioner to detangle.

But we use the lotion and it always gets replenished so I can't imagine the shampoo & conditioner being any different.

If I'm doing a split stay with one or two nights being a value or mod I bring a small thing of lotion and a small conditioner because I don't like that 2/1 shampoo/conditioner combo but otherwise I use what is in the room. I'll put the used in my toiletry bag so they will leave more but use the used up first.

I always bring my own but I've very particular about what I use, but I do know they will leave more if you ask for it or if there isn't any sitting out (one time I put the shampoo and other items I my bag to take home cause my sister wanted to try them, and more showed up in my room the next day). Maybe I'm just really picky but I don't use any of the hotel toiletries, I bring my own shampoo, conditioner, lotion, body soap (bar and gel) and even a pump soap for the bathroom to wash our hands with. Probably overkill, but I don't like to change from my normal products that my skin is used to, incase I end up with a skin irritation or something.

I've never stayed on-site before. I'm planning on checking only one luggage for the family and was debating on whether things like shampoo and conditioner need to go in there as well or if I could just rely on Disney's products. It seems that, from me reading this thread, that they will give you more bottles of bath supplies if you ask for them, but is it really only supposed to be for a few days or so? Is it frowned upon to just rely on what they can supply you regarding shampoo, conditioner and body wash for the entire trip? I'm staying at WL so I assume that's these H20 products I've been hearing about.

I bring my own everything. I like my own stuff because it is what my skin/hair etc is use to.

Is that legal ? :)

Last trip in May, my wife surprised me saying we weren't bringing our own shampoo and conditioner to Disney. At home, she is very picky. We got there, stayed for a week using the Disney supplied shampoo and conditioner. Told housekeeping on arrival we would need more than was there, she stocked us up real good. Really never gave it a second thought after that. (until now).

I use their shampoo & conditioner, love H2O but I also bring a leave in conditioner. I need all the spare room (weight) in my luggage I can get!! I think it's more the Florida water that affects my hair than the products.
Only the value resorts don't have separate shampoo & conditioner. If I was staying there I'd bring my own.

Wow! One bag under 50lb for entire family? :worship: I can barely stay under 50lb just for my suitcase, lol. I need to learn how to pack from you!

Just leave mouse keeping a note on the bathroom counter that you need extra of whatever. They don't mind at all!
I always ask for extra. I have thick mid length hair and my daughter has long curly hair, so we use a bottle each.

I like my own stuff- I tried the blushin orange shampoo/conditioner and it made my hair feel a bit odd. (and I like to bring liquid hand soap instead of the bar soap as bar soap dries my hands out!)

Oh god no! One checked luggage that will be mostly empty on the way to WDW and stuffed with souvenirs on the way back. And the usual one backpack and one carry-on luggage for each person for the clothes. I'm not that good at packing!

What do you use the collection for?

I found that it's the bottles that I like, so if one bottle gets used, it's less weight to carry home. :)

But I don't really bring ANY hotel bottles home anymore.

I pack my own.. I'm admittedly picky when it comes to personal care products, so I never use the toiletries provided by a hotel. My hubby likes the Disney products though and happily uses them while we're there.
