My crocs were fine from the first wear. Right now I have 1 pair but will definitely by another one to wear around the house.

Crocs are not plastic.
As far as breaking in.. the little nubs on the sole bothered me for the first little while. After a few days they were great.
I think socks are fine with crocs. I have seen people all winter with their beach models on with socks.
Crocs are my favorite.

melag...don't be sorry! I had no clue what Crocs were till I saw them on the site...then I realized we had them right here locally. Here's what the Crocs look like...

And the new one everyone wants...

And here are the Holey Soles versions...they are basically the same as the Crocs, just Canadian is what I was told.

I have the Crocs Beach (khaki and lime green) and the Holey Soles Provider (chocolate and moss green).
