Do you wear makeup to the parks?

Thanks for all of the info on Bare Minerals several pages back. I've had it for about a month and I really like it. I got it at Sephora, but since then I've also seen it at Ulta.

We leave for WDW 4 weeks from today. :cheer2:

I want to try Bare Minerals ....Is there any place close to WDW that sells it?

Anyone know of anywhere in Canada to get it besides the shopping channel?

What makes it so good??? :confused3 Thanks for any advice.

I am very fair skinned and I need something that will stay on as mine never does. :sad2:

Also, can anyone tell me approximate prices for the stuff???

We just spent 10 days at WDW and although I took my makeup...I never touched the bag once! It was suncreen, sunglasses and out the door!

This is from the list of places where you can buy Bare Minerals that was posted on page 4:

Florida Mall
8001 So. Orange Blossom Trail
Orlando, FL 32809

I have no idea where this is in relation to WDW. Maybe there's also an Ulta or Sephora in the area. You might be able to fiind out at their websites.

The thing I like about Bare Minerals is that it doesn't feel like there's anything on my face. And when I wear liquid foundation I always seem to get little "beads" of makeup in/on the pores of my nose. This doesn't happen with Bare Minerals.

I paid about $60 for a starter kit, which includes 2 foundation colors (they have 4 sets to choose from - light, medium, tan, and dark), "warmth" (which they say is "not a bronzer", but it sure seems like it to me), and "mineral veil", which I really like. It's a finishing powder that takes the shine away. The kit also contains 3 brushes and a DVD. The containers of makeup are smaller than the size sold individually. The individual containers I saw at Ulta were about $25.

I don't leave my house without makeup. When you are over 45, you need all the help you can get. :rotfl2: Debby

I use sunscreen for sure (I burn easily) and if I have a few red spots or a pimple I'll touch those up, then use powder. I use eye makeup (eye shadow, liner and mascara) and that's it. I skip lip stick/gloss in place of chap stick. Oh, and my saving grace: I bring those nutragena oil absorbing wipes! You blot them over your face and they soak up all the oil and sweat! Definitly helps out when it's 95 degrees! :goodvibes

Sunscreen and mascara only for me...It's too hot for foundation... :flower:
