When on vacation (or home for that matter!) do you pack lightly and just wear the same pants, shirts or shorts over again without washing them?

Not the same outfit everyday though!:rotfl:

I usually do, only if I haven't spilled anything on it either!;)

Especially this coming trip, I've gained weight this last year and I really have no summer clothes right now. I don't want to spend a ton of money on a lot right now. Because the weight will be lost!

I don't do it on vacation. I am afraid of spilling something, plus if I sweat in it-eewww !! I also buy myself and my kids different new Disney tshirts to wear everyday LOL.

When we go in August it is usually waayyyyyy to hot to wear something twice....sometimes I have to change twice a day!! But Sheesshhhh Do I Hate Having to do Laundry on vacation..............

Nope, I go during a "hot and sweaty" time of year, so I generally don't wear clothes more than once. (As another poster said, I often wear more than one shirt a day, too - I hate that sweaty feeling!) Even my shorts get stretched out and wrinkled when wearing them during a humid time of year. I don't mind doing laundry - it gives me a reason to make myself take a break from the parks (I tend to go, go, go and don't take enough breaks). I do laundry once, mid-trip, during my one-week vacation.

depends on when/where you're going.

as others have stated... FL in the summer=sweaty yucky clothes.

my husband has always thought that packing means a few t-shirts and underwear. he would wear the same pair of jeans for a week. he wears alot of clothes multiple times at home as well. he wears something on his drive to work, changes for the day, wears his clothes back home and changes after dinner. he'll just put that outfit aside and wear it another day, but he probably wore it for about 3 hours total.

Not at WDW, but when I went tio San Francisco in May a couple of years ago, I wore my jeans more than once b/c it was fairly cool. I used a travel size Febreeze on them in between wearings.

I usually take 4 tops and shorts mix and match, 4th day I laundry. I now yuck on vacation but it saves on the luggage. I don't check any bags.

We pack lightly and I do one load of laundry usually on the 3rd day of our vacation, our "off" day. We don't wear anything twice.

I pack light and wash after 3 days. So we are rewearing but not sweaty icky stuff. Plus, we always buy a souvy shirt and the kids usually wear it home. I have my favorite travel outfit and it's what I wear going and coming home!

Forgot to add, one of the benefits of packing light (for me) is packing in such a way that I have room to pack souvineers on the trip home. Usually have some suitcases that are only about half full leaving out, but are stuffed on the way home.

I am a TERRIBLE over-packer so sometimes when we travel I don't even wear everything I packed...of course I truly love certain outfits & want to wear them over!!! We actually enjoyed a laundry afternoon when we were last at Disney. It was a good excuse to load a few machines, stop by the outdoor bar for a beverage and hang by the hippy-dippy pool at Pop while our laundry was churning...sometimes I have to be FORCED to slow down and relax!!!!:rotfl:

I am a major OVER-packer, but for this trip I am really going to try to cut back. We are going for 6 days, and I am planning taking only 4 pair of shorts, so 1 or 2 pair will get re-worn. As for shirts, I will take one for each day plus 3 extra. So, pants/capris/shorts may be re-worn, shirts won't be.

At home I always wear my clothes more than once, unless they are really dirty (eg, stained, sweaty, etc).

When we went to WDW last time, we tried to pack light, but wished we had packed more because we always went swimming in the afternoon and then never wanted to put back on the sweaty clothes from that morning.

Since we're going again in summer, we will be packing a lot! Luckily shorts, tees, and swimsuits don't take up too much room!

I way overpack! never wear anything twice! I take an extra bag for shopping and often ship items home. Remember, if you're shipping the item out of state right then, you pay no tax ;) In Dec. I saved that way when I bought my Thomas Kinkade pic!

Never, that would bother me! We drove our big Bonneville down, jam packed, had four huge rolling suitcases, one regular, and three large duffels worth of clothes for the three of us! DS & DH will use shorts over sometimes, but not if they have a spot on them or if they got sweaty, and never shirts. I do not wear anything over  that is just blech to me! However, if you must pack light, or like you, don't want to buy a bunch of new clothes for a good reason, you may have to wear something again or else go to the laundrymat. I think all resorts have them and DVC's have W&D in the rooms (except Studio's). I hate to sweat and at WDW I did sweat, there was simply no way to wear anything over (except a nightgown)!

We always take more than enough to change sometimes more than once a day. We never want to be that one person in line that is looked at as the one with BO. We used the total allotment od bags that the airlines allow. Now with the airlines charging extra money for bags, that will be interesting. What are your thoughts on the airlines charging for bags?

I might wear a pair or shorts or capri's a second time, but never a t-shirt. I'm addicted to white t-shirts and they never stay clean after a day. I'm also a major over-packer. I'm trying to not do that for our upcoming trip, but I might need that 3rd sundress and those beaded black flip-flops.:cutie:

Never wear the same clothing twice. . .ever. . .if it touches my body, it must be washed before it can touch my body again. . .I'm OCD that way. . .lol

I do utilize the laundry room while I am traveling. . .or send out my clothes with concierge to be laundered. . .whatever works.

No never,:scared1: but then again I live in Florida and hit Disney from May-Sep and pardon me, I don't perspire, I sweat like a pig. In 90 degree whether with 80 percent humidity it's not an option to not change clothes twice a day!

Well flying got a lot more expensive for us since I will not wear things twice and I will NOT do laundry on vacation. We go for 9-10 days at a time, usually in the winter months where I need both warm and cool clothing. This isn't to say I will bring 10 pairs of jeans, but probably pack 2 per person and wear the third on the plane ride down and back. We are going to actively seek out an airline that is not charging for the extra luggage (as of now) and hope for the best!
