Do you watch the news on tv?

I don’t...ever. I usually just go to a couple local and national websites in my IPAD to keep up in current events.

I cannot tolerate the bias of all the news channels or listen to the mindless chatter of “experts” giving their opinion.

Wondering how many catch the news like I do or still turn in to the television?

I enjoy keeping up with current events, but generally only watch tv for movies & shows. The local news doesn't concern me much, and the presentation is not the best. I see headlines on line and on my phone, I let them trickle through my BS* filter for a few days and kinda get the gist of what is actually going on.:)

Nope. We cut the cord years ago. Occasionally I will research a story, but for the most part I ignore things. The truth IS out there, but it is exhausting to find.

Nope. I check online news sources all day long so by the time the evening news comes on, the stories are old news...

Yes, I watch the news. I truly wish it would go back to Walter Cronkite days where it was just reported without a slant.

But it won’t. :(

And I know what way channels lean politically. So I take it in knowing it has bias and decide for myself.

I watch our local news about once a day and NBC national news probably a few times a week.

Like others above, I just skim the internet news headlines to try and keep up with current events. I stopped watching the tv news because-aside from the obvious slant that each network has- I found that it seemed to be designed to make everyone mad or sad. So many negative stories and so few positive stories. I found our household to be much happier once I turned it off. In amongst the few tv shows we watch, I have seen a few commercials lately where the news programs seem to attest to that fact and are advertising that they are going to be having more positive stories. Fingers crossed some change will come.

no local news, a little news channels, most from twitter and web sites

I watch Fox News channel exclusively. I don’t watch local news (Philadelphia) or network news or other cable news channels.

I listen to the local news in the morning as I get ready for work. It’s too depressing and predictable. If I was real news I’ll search it out.

Yes, I watch the 6pm news everyday and then later at night I watch a replay of a show that is a combination news/current affairs/comedy show. Fortunately I think our news is a lot less biased one way or another than the American news (although our 2 major political parties aren’t as far apart as yours either).
