I'm one of those people that have to wash my hair everyday.

My BFF washes her hair every 3 days & as the days pass her hair looks even better.
When we were in college I thought it was gross to not wash your hair everyday but now I'm downright jealous. She's in & out of the shower in 1/2 the time I am not to mention blow drying everyday...UGH!:scared1:

I used to have to wash my hair everyday but now wash it every other day. It was oily the first few days when I first adjusted because it was used to being washed everyday but after a little while it adjusted and got used to the new routine. Now I could even go every three days but stick to the every 2 day routine.

If you want to switch I would try it and give your hair a week to adjust before thinking that it won't work.

I have to wash my hair everyday. It's naturally wavy and I have to blow-dry it and use hairspray to keep it looking decent. When I wake up, it's sticking up all over the place. If I don't wash it and style it again, it looks awful.

Sounds nasty, but it depends on how lazy I am. I'm in college and have early morning classes. Once I'm done with classes (at like 3ish some days), I have no one else to impress, so I may put it off until the next day :rotfl2:

My hair is fine, but there is a lot of it. It gets greasy quick, so I can't go more then two days without a shower or else I look disgusting.

My friend can go a few days without washing her hair and it still looks great. She has thick hair and there is a lot of it.

I think it has to do with the type of hair you have. Mine is looking worse, while hers is looking better by the day

I wash every 3 days. I have SUPER thick, curly hair, and it's pretty long (mid-back). If I wash every day, or really even every other day - it turns into a huge puffball. The day I wash it, it's normally big and frizzy and I have to use a bunch of product to try and control it. By day 2 and 3, it's calmed down quite nicely. :goodvibes

I've heard that if you have long hair, you shouldn't wash it every day. Mine's a little past my shoulders and I wash every other day.

I wash it about every 3rd day. I have never been able to wash it everyday...it just makes my hair and scalp gross if I do. But about every 3rd day seems to work well for it.

I wash mine every other day unless I have a fresh perm. For the first few weeks after a new perm it's every third day.

I have extremely oily skin, and my hair gets limp and stringy if I don't make sure it is washed every day. Yuck! My scalp feels awful if I have to skip a day for any reason- I can practically wring oil out of my hair, it's so bad. My face is the same way- I still use acne face wash and pimple cream to try to keep the oiliness and zits in control. The one good thing- I am in my mid 40's, and I have not one wrinkle or line on my face. And I don't need to buy moisturizers or conditioners. But someday, I'll probably be the only Granny in the nursing home that uses Clearasil... :rotfl:

If I washed my hair everyday it would be brittle, dry and break off. Basically I'd be bald.

So, I voted other.

I wash daily but thats cause im a teacher and go home with dirt, sand, mess, paint in my hair. Not to mention its oily and I cant stand the feeling of it oily.

I'm an every day kind of gal. If I miss a day, I feel like it actually tangles easier and feels greasy (even though it's really not, I just think it is). In order to keep myself feeling good about it, I just wash it every day without fail. unless I'm sick, then i'm not gonna see anyone else anyways :)

I wash it every day- sometimes more than once a day if I am sweaty.

Every other day I shampoo, but I wet it down in the shower on the other days. If not, I can't style it-Too thick and wavy.

I have a friend w/ very long thick hair. She washes it and flat irons once a week. It takes her 3 1/2 hours, but it lasts the whole week. I would love to get away w/ that.

I wash my hair 2x a week but condition almost everyday at least every other day. With all my crazy curls it needs the moisture and my hairdress keeps putting the smack down that washing my hair will take the moisture out. My hair usually looks better the next day also. I don't even own a hairdryer. I'm so envious of those hair dryer gals that can blow dry and go.

Since I started using Wen hair cleanser I can go a week without washing my hair. I have waist length hair, so this is great. It sounds gross, but I swear it doesn't look dirty at all, not even on the day that I wash it.

Every morning and if I exercise in the evening I wash it again. I can't let it go one day or it because digusting and greasy. Sometimes even if I don't wash it enough in one place that little spot is very greasy and drives me up the wall. I would try not washing it everyday and see if it adapts but it'll have to be a week when I don't leave the house.

My hair is really dry, so I wash every other day. I could get away with every 2 days, but then I would just feel icky.

I have straight, thick hair that must be washed every single day. If I go longer than 24 hours without a shower, I look like a greaseball. :scared:

I never blow dry or use products, so that cuts down on my "getting ready" time. :)
