And even if it is, no one will believe it. They will claim it's photoshopped. If they personally saw the body, they would say it's a body double. If they see DNA evidence, they will claim it's faked. It's great to have a healthy amount of skepticism. But skepticism based on party lines -- not so healthy.

I agree 100%, except for the last line. Although I do believe some people will be swayed one way or another because of their political beliefs, I do believe many people are just big on spinning conspiracy theories, no matter what.

Eh. Like I said...maybe, maybe not. I don't think it's a huge issue, and from what I've seen on FB from some really diehard Republicans, they're 100% supportive and believe Obama is dead.

Its so simple, do you really think Usama Bin Laden would allow people to say he was dead if he wasn't. Do you really think he would allow the US to make themselves happy or look good or whatever.. If he wasn't dead and the US was claiming they got him, believe me, he would be out there making a video or some other of his men would be out there claiming it wasn't so. Lying about getting Bin Laden would be the worst mistake this administration or any politician or government could make. It would bite them in the a$$ quickly!

Anyway, at the risk of being "political," I'm a conservative, I voted for GWB twice and did not/will not vote for BHO. I was annoyed at all the "I" 's in his announcement last night. But I believe bin Laden is dead. I believe they buried him quickly in accordance with Muslim law to appease Muslims (which Muslims is still a question for me, but that's not the point), I believe they buried him at sea so there would be no "shrine." Burial at sea still has "rules" for Muslims and I wonder if those were adhered to.

Yes, and I just viewed it. I don't find the purported photograph gruesome at all, but then again I've seen pictures of a guy's mutilated hand that accidently went into a meat grinder among other things.
