do you use the alarm clock on

I'm not a morning person and I need to wake up gradually. I set both alarms on my regular alarm clock and I also use the alarm on my cell. I set all three for different times. I've been known to shut off the alarm (in my sleep) instead of pressing the snooze button so this takes care of that problem.
I have a similar system. I have been known to shut off my alarm clock too and go back to sleep. Having my cell phone across the room that I also have to manually turn off, in addition, is so much better.

I also use it when traveling. I don't trust hotel alarm clocks.

And it's great when on a train in the morning. If I know I probably will snooze on the train, I can set the alarm to go off about 7 minutes before arrival at my stop. This way I don't oversleep & miss the stop, but also, I'm awake enough to gather my things & get off.

I also use the cell alarm to remind me of eBay auctions I want to bid on. It's great being able to set a separate alarm and not have it screw with my wake up alarm.

It is the main reason I got a new phone. Alarm clock and calendar reminders.

I wish I could set two reminders for the same event. Like one a day before and then another an hour before.

Does anyone have a suggestion of software like that for a palm treo?

Mikeeee

What if you just add a second reminder by slightly change the name for the event? Like Football Game 3 (a day before) and Football Game 3a for the reminder an hour before.

I use it during the day but never to wake up to.

LOL My DH and I were just discussing cell phone alarms yesterday. There is a guy that DH works with that usually ends up being late any time he has a morning shift. His excuse is that he only has his cell alarm and never seems to hear it. DH and another coworker are planning to buy him an alarm clock as a "gift" just to make sure there are no more late mornings:laughing:

Yep! I use it every night as backup to my "real" alarm clock. I'm terrified of oversleeping because when I oversleep, I don't screw around--it's by HOURS, not minutes. Therefore, I always have at least 2 alarms set (and for stuff like the WDW Half-Marathon, we set the room's alarm clock, 2 cell phones, and got a wakeup call as well :laughing: .)

Boy - you're just full of questions these days - aren't you? ;)

I don't even use the cell phone..:rotfl::rotfl:

Yeah, it's the only one I use. I NEED an alarm clock for school or else I'd naturally wake up at 9-11 am. Not good considering school is over at 2:30.

I use the alarm as a reminder for my daily medication that needs to be taken at about the same time each day.

Used to forget, and had the brain wave to use the alarm and it works great.
