I think I might have read somewhere that tips are included in the free Magical Express service....but I am not sure if those were van driver tips, bellman tips, or both....does anyone know?

When in doubt, I tip. If I'm not supposed to the person usually declines. I'd rather tip when unnecessary than not tip when it's expected. Usually the bus drivers have a container to hold tip on the dashboard. That's a pretty good indication that tipping is expected.

Agreed. A tip is always a nice way to show that you appreciate their services. Esp. when the service is free and they do an outstanding job! I would also say def. tip if you have a carry on suitcase as these will travel with you on the bus in the undercarraige compartments. Which means they will have to get them out for you.

Here's the official word from Disney in Disney's Magical Express FAQs - Planners:

Q: Are Bell Service gratuities included for the luggage delivery to the Resort room?

A: Yes, but for the inbound service only. Gratuities are not included if the Guest elects to use Bell Services for luggage assistance when departing.

There's no word about tipping the motor coach drivers. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a cup in the front of the coach -- and that most passengers will ignore the cup. If the driver is not giving you personal attention, such as helping you with your luggage, it's really hard to make a case that the driver should be tipped.

There's also no word about tipping the Resort Airline Check-in employees (who actually work for BAGS, Inc.) who will check your bags at your resort if you're flying home on one of the participating airlines. I wonder if they're tipped like airport skycaps (who depend on tips) or like airline ticket counter employees (who do not receive tips)?

Mears drivers are not allowed to display collection cup/jars etc. of any kind.

They can accept gratuities.

Good service from the driver? Tip at your discretion. Especially if they are handling your luggage.

Is there a list somewhere of who to tip? We have never been travellers and I have no clue who gets what. Or do I just hand out tips to most everyone. Sorry, Im just clueless :(

There are lots of guides on the Web. Here's one that makes sense to me:

Whatever you do, don't just "hand out tips to most everyone." Servce employees in traditionally tipped positions are generally paid less than minimum wage. They rely on tips for there income, and most work very hard to provide good service.

Employees in nontipped positions get wages or a salary that pays them for their work. (Some will turn down tips, but others will gladly pocket tips.)

So, for example, you tip airline skycaps, table-service food servers, bell services employees, and valet parking attendents. You don't tip airline flight attendents, WDW ride operators, or salesclerks in shops.

And just because there's a tip jar someplace (such as at a fast food place) doesn't mean you should tip.
