do you tip magical express driver?

I tipped him a couple of bucks.
Our last driver was fun too. Kept shouting out YOOHOO! and WHOOPEE!! at the mention of every resort stop :)

We generally tip the driver if he is exceptional or if he has to handle our junk (which they haven't had to do since Disney fetches our luggage for us! :lovestruc ) If the driver isn't exceptional or doesn't have to do anything other than drive, then we do not.

We tip only if he has to handle any of our bags.

We plan on giving him $10 for our family of free....afterall, it's a free transfer, why not throw the guy/gal a bone? How else can you get to Disney for free?

I was under the impression that around a $5 tip was customary. But I have no idea where I got that idea from! :) We did tip $5 each way and I noticed the other people on our bus were tipping too. I'm sure it's personal choice, whatever you are comfortable with.

I thought the same thing.

The first time we took DME we planned on tipping-but the guy was SO miserable-he even snapped at me when I asked if I should bring my carry on bag on the bus or put it in the storage compartment...No Tip For You!

After that experience, we tip when the driver is exceptional and/or handles our bags.

We generally don't have bags for the driver to handle but if he is friendly and happily shows the Welcome video without being asked to play it we leave a tip. If he's grumpy and irritated with the world - no tip. So far we've only encountered one grouch. He was as miserable as they come. Made me wonder why he would want to work with people? I almost asked him but my dh said take a deep breath and remember you're going to your happy place! :lmao:

Silly question here. Do you tip the driver after he puts your luggage on the bus or after you get to your destination?

We tip when we arrive at our resort, but only if he was decent. $5.00 for 2 bags, just my husband and I.

One time we were on a cruise (I think Norwegan) and when we got off our bus we were 'told' by the baggage handlers that "it is $2 per bag". I was ticked. We always tip the person handling our bags, but don't 'tell' me how much to tip! The tipping thing is out of control!!

So anyways, yes we tip if the driver handles our bags, if he doesn't and is a nice driver we will give him a couple bucks anyways.

We tipped ME driver the only time we used the service last January. My FIL was using a scooter so the driver had to load him with the lift and handle our luggage.
