Just wondering. For those of you who have parasailed in the past, do you usually tip or do you consider it's included in the price?

We did give the driver and his assistant a tip. I can't remember how much since it was over 2 years ago, but I remember because I left the money with my parents who were at the dock watching and I had to run to get it!

Only if you want to land in one piece.... ;)

Ok, I had to say that. But seriously - I would tip. Who are you most grateful for? The guy that didn't kill you parasailing or the one that brought your bags to the room? We always tip the bellman so ..... :thumbsup2

Actually I won't be going parasailing. I'll be staying with the little one and taking him on the Family Magic Tour. I'll just be "providing" the tip if you know what I mean ;) so I wanted to know what was appropriate.

We just got back from WDW Monday and had done the parasailing for the 1st time. We booked a tandem and it was an amazing view.

We treated it as we would the carriage rides and such and we did tip. There were a driver and an asst so I just tipped $20. There was 1 other couple in the boat and I noticed they didn't tip, even though they had their picture taken by the asst and they both raved about the experience.

To each his own I guess.

I know this is an old thread but just an FYI you absolutely have to tip 20% for a good experience. Parasailing is a very specialized training and they're usually certified captains on board. A big part of their income is tips.
