Hey!!! You of all people would appreciate this one--I was at the neurologist last week and instead looking at my chart he asked me my age so I told him that I'd had my 6th anniversary of my 39th birthday. The look on his face was priceless! Leave it to me to use that line on the dr.

And until you brought my name up I'd stayed away from this thread for good reason. When I was young and stupid (as opposed to old and stupid like I am now) I looked very young for my age. Probably did until I was 25-30yo. I married young and looked like such a baby in those pictures (I was, but I looked REALLY young). Now I look my age, but it's kind of depressing that I want to look young for my age and I don't.

BUT, maybe with my non-mom jeans I will. Or maybe not... And if you haven't stopped by that thread and given your 2 cents worth about men's butts you really should!

Men's butts?!!! I'm there!

And that's all that matters But for what it's worth, I think you look beautiful, too! And I think that attitude, etc is a large part of it, as others have mentioned!

Yeah, she is and our personalities are very similar. DH says that he is "out of here" when she turns 16!

I look younger. I will be 25 in May...and people look at me like, "They can't be all YOUR kids??????". I have even gotten carded for spray pant while I had the kids with me. People think that I'm some kind of bad hooker, not a married mother.

For some strange reason I feel old/young at the same time. At church I have nothing in common with the other ladies because they are all over 35, so even if we have kids the same age...they just act old, while I still am/feel really young, even though I have four kids.

When I was 27 I got stopped at Pleasure Island's gates. Not for being 21 but for being under 18 and needing "adult supervision" to go into PI!

9 years and two kids later, I look more like I am pushing 50 than pushing 40.

I have to say, you have the MOST gorgeous eyes....you have to get that all the time. I would have said you were 34 at the oldest.

For most of my life being thought I was younger then I was, well was a problem. It got to be a big problem in my career. I had to dress older, no one wants a hip young therapist. It was hard to get taken seriously.

I was given the kids rate putt putt golfing once with friends, it was for 12 and under. I was 18 years old. I don' think I deserved that.

Then something happened. I am not really sure what. Being mistaken for young then I am, doesn't happen so much any more. I think it is the find lines around my eyes and smile. I must laugh too much.

I don't know you tell me. I am the bigger of the 3 in my sig. Oh I forgot I am 34, but will be 35 in March. Of course I think most 35 year olds look pretty young now a days anyway. Not like 35 is old right? RIGHT??????

A wise person once said "youth is a fault too quickly cured!" I tend to agree.

Edited to add, I am the larger of the 3, but not Auroa! Just had to clear that up. Forgot she was in there too!

Let me help, stressed out mother of four livin in the boonies of northern MI. Yeah there's a pretty picture for you! LOL
