Do you think you look your actual age? (UPDATE p. 19, post 272)

You tell me - how old do I look? (I took this pic for someone to give me hair advice - so ignore how oddly cocked my head is!)

32-34? Please don't hurt me if I'm wrong.

I can see that, definitely. You're so lucky people only tell me I look like a toddler.

Well they only tell me I ACT like one. :rotfl:

OOOOh - I am happy, actually, with your guess. Most people say I look between 16 - 21. I get carded for LOTTERY TICKETS still (you have to be 18). I just automatically whip out my ID at bars.

Nope - I am younger than you guessed. I will be 28 in 2 weeks :O)

Ok, I'll bite. I think I look exactly my age, at least most of the time.

But people tend to not believe me when I tell them.... they swear I'm younger than I am, and proceed to give me the same line about "appreciating it when I'm older". Now my mom, SHE looks younger than she is, IMO.

So any guesses? I'm really at the perfect age to play this game, because I won't be offended either way! :rotfl2:

While we're at it, here's my mom (on the left, which I hope is obvious). She doesn't get on here, and I won't tell her what you think ;)

Any guesses on our ages? I think it will be interesting, since you'll have to relate mine and my mother's ages.

Any takers?

And by the way.... I think that several people that have posted do look younger for their age. :goodvibes

Okay, please don't beat me because I'm really HORRIBLE at this game and I'm probably going to totally insult you and your mom. My guesses would be 33 for you and 53 for mom.

I'm just going to apologize in advance.

Minnesota....30 Ut-oh...I just went back and saw you've answered. Well, regardless...you are beautiful and I hope if you did something new to your hair that they did a good job with it. Beautiful hair, beautiful eyes and eyebrows!!

You all look about 10 years older than you really are...

Hey, I'm just making up for all the polite underestimating :teeth: :duck:

Younger. People don't believe me when I say my DD is 16. I still get carded once in a while. For the record, I just turned 40.

I look so young people often mistake me for an embryo. :smooth:
Wow, impressive! Much better than "toddler" but not quite as good as "gleam in your parents eye". ;)

It's getting deep in here!!!

Honestly, I have lost count of how many women I know who are in their 40's who claim that everybody thinks they are in their 20's :confused3 yeah, I look like I am in my 20's....from a very far distance. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Necks, hands, back of those arms...dead give aways. :scared:
It's not getting deep in here, Michie. You're just shrinking with old age.
:duck:

I think my best friend and I look our ages, but a couple of times people have asked if she is my mother. It makes her not so happy because I am 2 months older. Of course I prefer to think it's because I look younger :rotfl2:

I think I maybe used to look younger than my age. At least, a number of people had said so.

Now, after several years of hard non-living, I think I probably look older than my age. Don't really know though. I haven't been paying attention to that kind of thing. I don't know what others think, as I don't get out enough to know.

At any rate, whether others would think I look older, younger or just my right age doesn't matter to me. Age doesn't really bug me. And I think some of the most beautiful people are older folks. :)

:rotfl: Notice how many times she has chimed in on this thread never giving any clues as to her age? We got her number. :rotfl:

Okay. Here is a picture I had taken about six months ago at the Elf convention. I don't have many pictures taken of myself. You tell me. I'll be 54 next Tuesday.

Actually, she did post her age in a reply a few posts back.... :teeth:

We were in WDW in september 2005.. went to the comedy club in pleasure island. I don't drink so I never carry ID, but I got carded getting in. DH was shocked. He said "You mean she doesn't even look 21???" The lady said "sorry, no". He said "She's pushing 30!!!!" :woohoo:
I am also involved in alot of things at DS's school, and all the moms are at least mid-30's. I used to get lots of strange looks when he was in kindergarten and I was only 25. One of the teachers even said he thought I was a student at the HS!

You look as great as your daughter, Feralpeg! Let's hear it for we "older" ladies!!

I'll be celebrating the big 5-0 myself in two weeks. I have NEVER looked my age and for most of my life that's been A BAD THING! Now I can enjoy it!
