Do you think you can request and wait for a window table at Crystal Palace?

I never realized what a great view it has of the castle until our last trip when I took a picture of my BBBed girls while we waited to get in. Has anyone ever requested to wait until a window table opened up and if so, how long did you have to wait? Thanks!

They are always willing to take special seating request. This could easily add more than a half hour to your wait time.

FYI We waited just for our ADR in November - its a very popular place. They don't mind if you wait for a request but you may wait depending upon when you go.

If you're trying for fireworks, good luck! It seems many people drag dinner out over an hour so they can sit there!

Otherwise, it can depend on the time of your ADR. We had a window table accidentally on one visit, but it was very late at night--just after fireworks. There must have been a mass exodus, as we hadn't requested it and were seated promptly!

Yes you can request a special table/view/server at any restaurant but be prepared to wait up to a half our extra for your request.

I would recommend checking in a little earlier than your reservation & put the request in as soon as you check in.

This could easily add more than a half hour to your wait time.

1) Actually, this could add AN HOUR to the wait.
2) And, this does not include a 1/2 to 3/4 hour normal wait if busy.
