We are going for 10 days in November, and everything is paid for room, air, towncar and park tickets staying conceirge so breakfast, snacks and most beverages should be covered. We are going to three sit down meals for dinner and the kids will be in the Neverland Club for one night. other than that we are figuring salads, pizza, burger and my 2 DD's ages 4 & 7 usually split a meal because they each take two bites and DH & I usually go for salads or chicken sandwich nothing big for lunch & dinner and figure the cookies and other snacks in the conceirge lounge should satisfy us at night if we are still hungry. I also need to buy 10 Christmas Gifts no more than $25.00 per person so I figure about $250-300 there (these will be little shirt or mouse ears for my nieces and nephews who are all 7 years and under instead of the usual toys and I would like to get something personalized for my parents with there names on it.) What do you think will $2,000 be enough please give me your insites to this and are there better cheaper places to shop than inside the world as we will have 5 days that will be non-park days to lounge around pool and go shopping maybe some mini golf which is included in our room only package with Disney Club. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

If you are staying at a Disney Resort and pay with your AMEX card you will get 15%off $50 purchases and 20% off $75 purchases at the Downtown Disney Stores. I think you could get a very nice personalized Disney ornament for your parents for as little as $12. They have lots of things in that store you can get personalized. I do think you will be able to get by with $2000 if you don't eat $100 meals everyday. We used to be able to do it with 1200 for 10 days when our children were younger and didn't eat very much. They have some very interesting things in the shops in WS @ Epcot. Some of the stuff is very expensive and some is not too bad. I think you will be fine with your budget. Have a great time .

If you have a vehicle, check either Wal-Mart (down by Medeival Times), or the Outlet Center just above the Marriott Village (go out from the end of Hotel Drive - cross the I and then go up past the Marriott Village). The Outlet Center has a Prem. Character store. First time we were there I bought tons. This trip it was pretty picked over but they get stuff all the time. Timing will be the key and how much traffic is buying it all. But definitely check the outlet store FIRST.

Disnee Dad Says................You should make it easy. With breakfast covered $1000 for food should be easy, unless you are Victoria and Alberts type of sitdowns. Go to the outlets, some times good sometimes not so good, but when you can get some decent stuff it's half price or even less!
Based on what you posted I would go $1000 food (probably $800) and $500 gifts (probably $400).
You will find more people to buy gifts for when you are there! As I see it budget $1500 and you should come in around $1200.
