Do you think this is enough?

I have been working this out for the past nine months- almost like preparing for childbirth!! There are five of us- DH-34, Me-35, celebrating our 10 year anniversary with a family trip to our honeymoon spot, DD-7, Disney Vet, DS-4, Newbie, DS-2.5, Newbie who thinks he's a Vet! Here is my plan and budget- does it sound good to all you Disney Veterans?

We are staying at the Poly Feb 13-18, paid for; We have our PHP tickets for six days, paid for. We plan on buying kid's meals instead of using vouchers for them. Here are our dining plans: 2/13-PS 50's PT Lunch, One VKL Voucher and will buy kids meals and DH lunch; Dinner- Cosmic Ray's 2Q/C; 2/14- CRT PS' Valentine's morning- Four Breakfast Vouchers, L/D Tangierine Cafe 2 Q/C; 2/15- B-Kona Cafe, L/D- AK- should we get the meal deals or use Q/C?; 2/16- B- in-room, D- Fantasmic P/S 4:15pm @ MM; 2/17- Bhef Mickey's Four Breakfast Vouchers, L- Cantina De San Angel 2 Q/C, D- R&C Pub; 2/18- B- in room, L- Crystal Palace, D- somewhere using 2 Q/C- any advice?

I have all the vouchers, already paid for, and thought $475 would be enough for the kid's meals and others not paid for, as well as a few souvenirs. Am I right? DD has $50 of her own for spending money- we are using it as a math lesson on how to budget. Any comments would be greatly appreciated! Also, how does the weather forecast look? I have planned many warm outfits for the kids, or should I be optimistic and pack more shorts instead of pants? Thank you for all your support!

You sound like you've got it all under control! Good job getting things pre-paid. That should be plenty of money for kids meals and a few extras. As for packing, I would bring some warm weather clothing and bathing suit coverups. You don't want to miss out on the Poly's pool! You don't need to pack towels, they have plenty there. But if it's cold, your kids will need good coverups. I think you can go to weather.com and look at historic temps for the orlando area in February. That will give you an idea. I am going in early April and I am bringing spring outfits and jackets & hats (we will do a wishes cruise). For Feb, I would pack layers and plan on bringing a bag to hang on the stroller when/if you need to shed clothing during the day!

The money part sounds great to me!!

We usually go every year at this time of year. The weather is very unpredictable. I remember trembline through AK when it was 40 degrees one morning. The key is layers. Typically, it is very cool in the morning and again after the sun goes down. It is usually 65 - 75 degrees the warmest part of the day. That is the hard part of going this time of year. You have to take so many clothes, because it is almost like packing for twice the trip. The great part though is that the lines are not as long and you are not hot and miserable while standing in line. Have a great trip. We leave one week from today as well!!
