Do you think there will be room only codes for 12/04?

I'm holding off making any reservations for my trip in December. We are going the first week, so it's value season, but I was hoping there may be more room only codes coming out soon. Does that usually happen?

I would recommend renting a dvc studio. It is the lowest point season and you can get 5 nights in a OKW studio for $400 total. There are other resorts that would cost a more too. Check out the dvc rental board or post questions on the dvc board.

If you know where (and when!!) you want to stay, I would make the ressie now and they can modify it when you call for the discount! I do this every year and have never had a problem.

I am hoping for codes for 12/04 as well, but already booked my rooms. We are staying at POP from 11/30-12/10 (10 nights), and I booked at the AAA rate. The TOTAL per night per room including tax is $68.68. I'm hoping the $49 rate will return, but if not I'm pretty happy with my rate!

I suggest you book now, and then watch the boards! BTW---if they come out, it won't be until about October, and I doubt you want to wait that long to have a reservation.
