Do you think Red Lobster would take two coupons?

I really don't know the ins and outs of couponing, so I figured I'd go right to the experts! I was wondering if you all thought that Red Lobster would take two coupons for the same meal.

I received a $10 off coupon for Red Lobster from Discover card in the mail, and then today I found a $4 off coupon in the coupon inserts of the newspaper.

Could we take both of these coupons and get $14 off? or will they only accept one.

Here is another idea, could DH and I just get separate checks and then use one coupon for each check?

I know this is really pinching pennies, but we're trying to save for downpayment and still take Disney trips, so any extra dollar saved is good news for us!

Check the fine print on the coupons, if it says something like, "cannot be combined with any other offer", you may be out of luck. But, they might let you do the two check thing, but you won't know that until you get to the restaurant.

Read the small print. Mine says $2 off up to 2 adult entrees and not valid with any other coupon. Sorry, but rarely will a place take 2 coupons. Only exceptions are usually groceries when you have a manufacturer coupon and a store coupon.

And the fine print for restaurant coupons usually says not good on split checks either. SOOOO, if you and hubby want to sit at separate tables, yeah, you could likely use both coupons...but the meal wouldn't be as much fun!

I would take both coupons and see if you get a server that wants a good tip....but budget wise I'd plan on getting only $10 off.

I'd take both, ask if you can use them together and if they say no, say ok then separate bills please. We have a local Big Boy that does kids coupons at Halloween and Valentines day but they won't let you use them with any other coupons. DH and I have a HUGE stack of BOGO for a penny for Big Boy sandwiches and they won't let us use the coupons together. So I have them give DD her own bill and we take our own bill. Seems silly and makes more work on them but whatever.

My Red Lobster lets you use both...they said the $10 Discover works like a gift card so it wasn't an issue...
