Do you think pot should be legalized?

alcohol isn't a hallucinator either, and it makes you do stupid things...
pot does impair your judgment, the same way that alcohol does.
i'm not saying it makes you do stupid things like ecstasy would (ie; jumping off a building, or trying to eat a knife when you think it's a banana) but when you're drunk or high (from pot), you definitley do things you wouldn't normally do.

and trust my it makes you do stupid things. lol
thanks for that last part.

i've not done pot. (hell, i don't even drink. )

but i know enough about human anatomy and drugs to say that pot does impair your judgement by dropping your inhibitors. it allows you to do things you wouldn't normally, becuase you aren't able to think of the consequences of what you're doing.

but hey, so does alcohol. :confused3

i think its rather hypocritical to allow incredibly dangerous tobacco to be sold, allow any amount of alcohol to be sold, but not allow marijuana to be sold.

but then again, i think brothels should be legal.

We must be the weird ones then because ITA with you, on both accounts.

EXACTLY::yes::

i don't think hooking should be legal, but i have no problem with regulated brothels.

::yes::
As long as things are regulated I have no problem with them being legal. Like for brothels, have the "employees" tested for STDs weekly and whatnot. With pot, taxing it and putting laws like DUIs on it.

The way I see it, these things are always going to be there? You legalize it - it becomes easier to track. If it's not legalized, you'll just have a black market and it becomes unsafe.

JMO.

i know a kid who took some pot a guy gave him at a concert and it was laced with coke. if you could legally buy safe marijuana, that wouldn't have happened. (and i know it wouldn't have happened if he wasn't doing pot at all, but... )

i think brothels should be run on an interview, check-up, appointment basis. you pay for so long, you get to pick who you want, but before that you would have to be interviewed (you know, weed out the crazy rapists to keep the girls safe) and then given a check up to make sure you don't have any diseases. then you pay x amount of money (and the brothels are taxed by the government) and you get x amount of time with whoever you want.

marijuana and alcohol are both depressants. in any extreme amount, they'll damage the consumer. (though the amount of alcohol required to hit alcohol poisoning is much lower than the amount of pot that you would have to smoke to encounter any extreme effects)

whatever you do, remember, do not mix stimulants and depressants. you'll die. (a stimulant would be like...adderal or cocaine )

Was he okay? I'm not into drugs and I don't know much about them, but that does NOT sound safe.

Okay, haha. I just had to look up the word 'brothel' to know what you guys were talking about. As long as it was run safely and like a proper business, I'd have no problem with it. People have needs, this would be a safer way to satisfy those...needs.

And I think pot should be taxed and kept track of. It would be more safe and actually good for the economy, I guess.

yeah. there wasn't enough coke in it to mess him up too badly, but thats the dangers of it.

i know someone else who got pot that had acid in it.

lol i thought brothel was a better word than ***** house. ;)

:confused3

Pot doesn't make you do stupid things. It's not a hallucinator. Basically all it does is relax your body, but it doesn't impair your decision making. My friends use to do it and it never impaired them at all.

Pot does impair your judgment. That's why people shouldn't drive after using it.

I don't think drugs should be used for "feeling good."

There are other ways to "feel good" without using drugs.

And I don't think cigarettes should be used to fuel people's habits, but hey. They're going to smoke, no matter what I think.

So why shouldn't our government benefit from it? Plus it would be safer than buying it from some shady dealer in a back alley.

hah, you want to fuel our economy? legalize pot!

ahahahahaha
jkjk.

Its the same as drinking to feel looser, more relaxed, etc.

And the same as alcohol it shouldn't be abused.

True, and its a great thing we have that freedom. No one is stopping them from doing pot since they still do it illegal or not.
Tylenol comes with warning labels, and directions on how to use it, you choose to abuse Tylenol by taking more then written or prescribed. Some people just have a bad reaction to Tylenol but thats the same with anything really. I don't think pot usually comes with a warning label, or directions telling you to take it every so and so hour. No, not everything harmful has directions, I know, but they at least should.

If someone doesn't have enough common sense to limit their intake of something, serves them right if they get ill.
