Pot does impair your judgment. That's why people shouldn't drive after using it.
Marijuana doesn't, which is what I'm talking about. People say pot and some assume they mean marijuana and others think they mean thinks that can make you hallucinate. Marijuana does not make your judgement impaired. I know plenty of people who have driven while smoking it and they're perfectly normal.

Yeah, and my dad says chain smoking cigarettes isn't affecting his health either.Marijuana doesn't, which is what I'm talking about. My aunt cleaned her kitchen asleep while on ambien. That stuff is dangerousss.I thought:
pot = marijuana.
hallucinations = shrooms. (well, they make you hallucinate anyway)
want hallucinations? take ambien. holy crap.

marijuana is counted among the cause for 18% of vehicle related deaths.
your friends are endangering everyone else on the road.
now, i'm sure that because you've done these drugs or you're close to those that do you want to think that it doesn't impair your judgment, but they do. there's no way around it.
one in six (15%) teens reported driving under the influence of marijuana, a number nearly equivalent to those who reported driving under the influence of alcohol (16%). Research shows that smoking pot affects concentration, perception, coordination and reaction time, many of the skills required for safe driving and these effects can last up to 24 hours. In 2001, an estimated 38,000 high school seniors in the U.S. crashed while driving under the influence of marijuana and 46,000 crashed after driving under the influence of alcohol.

i think those numbers make it completely obvious that driving under the influence of marijuana and driving under the influence of alcohol are JUST as dangerous as each other, if marijuana isn't even more dangerous because you sober up faster when you're drunk.
(Marijuana users also have the same or lower incidence of murders and highway deaths and accidents than the general non-marijuana using population as a whole. Crancer Study, UCLA; U.S. Funded

i think i've proven with my previous post that you don't need to argue what your brain does and does not do with me... yes, the feel good affects of marijuana wear off faster than those of alcohol, but when your alcohol feel good affects go away, so does the alcohol. marijuana's thc stays attached and in the synaptic gaps in your brain for up to twenty four hours.I guess I worded that wrong.. It's not the direct cause of deaths. Yes, people smoking marijuana can get in car accidents, but it's a lesser percentage of non-marijuana users.

And I had to lol at the thought that marijuana does not sober up as fast as alcohol..
Most people say pot as a general reference to any illegal things of the kind.
now i want you to tell me that pot doesn't affect your body. [/B]

That's not what I meant. I meant that people who do marijuana or are friends with people who do marijuana usually don't think it affects them. They're too close.Where did I say it doesn't affect your health? Hmmm.. no where. It just doesn't impair your decision making skills or judgement.
Everyone here's taking my words out of context. Did I say it doesn't slow down your reaction times or hand-eye coordination? No. Everyone needs to read and comprehend sentences before responding.

Hmm.. where did I say it didn't affect your body? Anywhere? Nope. I even said it was a relaxer, which obviously will slow your reaction time, hand-eye cordination, ect. Maybe try reading my post before responding. All I said was that it doesn't impair your decision making skills. I know plenty of people who have done it while driving, being at school, heck riding their bikes and they're just fine. It's not to the affect of alcohol like everyone makes it out to be, you don't get dizzy or anything.
are you even reading your posts? youre only backing up what i'm saying. how can you try to disagree?
and are you reading mine? i showed you exactly how it impairs your decision making skills.
how can anything that slows your reaction time or hand eye coordination be "fine" to do while driving?

All I did was prove that marijuana users have the same to lower rate of highway and general accidents than non-marijuana users. And you'd think for something that "impairs your judgment" they'd have higher automobile crash ratings and homicide rates.
And just because it's in your system doesn't mean it's affect is going on. Most of the effect happens for around an hour before it dies down. The only way to get those affects going again is to intake some more.
