I am intrested in others opinions. We are going to Florida in June at the beach , and we are thinking of staying at a resort for 2 nights, and go to a park for one day. We will have a 13 month with us and a 4 YR old boy. Do you think it will be to hot for the baby, to really enjoy? We plan on going a week in either Spring of 2010 or 2011 when the boys are 3 or 4 and 6 or 7 Any thoughts??

Your never to young to enjoy the magic of Disney. As you can see from my signature below we took both of our DDs when they were at around the same age as your little one for their first times. Our second DD was 15 months when our first was 5 yrs old so we did a park one day.But for the rest of the time just enjoyed the resort (BC) and had a blast in the pool during the day.Since your going in June the weather shouldn't be a problem to lounge at the pool all day.I say go for it and have a great time. :woohoo:

No he will definitely not be too young. We have a two year old DD and she has already been there twice, and we are planning our third trip. Our trips were wonderful! She enjoyed seeing everything and had fun with the characters. I was worried too, and posted the same question a couple years ago:) Have fun!!!

My youngest DD's first trip to DW was when she was only 11 months old, it was in early June. She did just fine. Youngest DS went when he was only 8 months old, we were there the first week of July.

You are never too young for Disney!
I took my DD princess: for her first trip when she was 6 months and my DS pirate: when he was SIX WEEKS! (the ressies were made before I knew I was preggers and I wasn't about to cancel!)

Anyway, babies are fun at Disney. Mine have always enjoyed themselves (especially small world) and they slept great there! Must be all the fresh air!;)

... and I think you mentioned "resort" so I'm guessing you are staying onsite, yes? I would strongly suggest staying onsite with little ones. :thumbsup2

Have a great time!:goodvibes

We took my 14 month old son in late June, and we took my daughter when she was 5 months in October. Both had a great time. I would be sure that on the day you go to the park, get there before it opens and leave around 11:30 when it's getting super hot. Enjoy the room and the pool to cool down, then head back in around 4pm or 5pm. That way you miss the hottest hours of the day and still get in plenty of stuff.

Have fun!

You're NEVER to young for Disney. We took our daughters when the youngest had just turned five. I was 35 and had just as much fun as the kids. Remember, Disney is the most magical place on earth!!
