Do you think it's too late to change a tour ressie?

I booked the Family Magic Tour over a month ago for our October trip. I booked it for the last full day of our vacation without knowing hours etc for the parks. The Friday I booked it for is an EMH morning and the park is open until 8pm. I have read that Fridays are VERY busy at MK (probably everyone getting their last dose of pixie dust!) Thursdays, however, are very quiet (EMH night on Wed!). Do you think I should call and see if I can change my tour reservation to Thursday? I thought about park-hopping but it won't work well because we have AK penned in for Thursday.....if we go to MK on Thursday, do our tour Friday am and then hop over to AK, that only leaves about 4 hours at AK as they are only open until 5pm. WHAT SHOULD I DO!!!!!??????? HELP!!! Kathy

I'd call and make the change. Part of the perk of the tour is being there so early that you can see Main St. half empty. I'd try to change the days just to get to see that. Worst case scenario, if they don't have slots available on Thursday is to just stick with your original plan.

I called Disney today and cancelled my Friday tour and was able to re-book one for Thursday (that to me is promising since there was still room left!!) I feel much more at ease w/my plans. Now we will go to MK on Thursday, probably still do MK EMH am on Friday then over to AK for the rest of the day and "hop" over to MGM to watch Fantasmic in the evening. Thanks! I just needed a little "push"! Kathy
