Do you think I should change my date so I can get a better rate at Poly? UPDATE!

My current date is June 21-29. 2 nights at Poly. $354 per night with AAA. I called CRO and inquire about July 20 for 4 nights, it's $258 per night with AAA.
If I do change my flight, I know it would cost me more for the difference and plus whatever the penalty there is. And instead of 8 nights total, it would be 7 nights. 4 nights at Poly and 3 nights at POFQ. I am currently booked at Poly 2~ WL 3~ POFQ 3 for June 21-29.

I have a trip to New Orleans for July 13-18. Do you think this is too much in one month. Or maybe I should book Disney for August instead?

Please, I need your opinion, your thoughts on this one. Thanks so much!!

I've watched you drive yourself nuts over resort choices for months. Honestly I think it's time to quit worrying about it, relax and let yourself get ready for a wonderful trip. If you can afford what you have booked keep those plans, pop a Disney movie in the DVD to watch with your kids and remember why you're going in the first place: )

I would not change the flight. I would save the money and stay wherever you can get a discount for for the first two nights. The Poly is not worth the $354- $258 okay, but not if it's going to cost you more total in the end. You don't seem to be happy with the $354 and I would hate to see you disappointed. There will be other trips when you can get the discount at the Poly.

I have to say I agree with Suzy. One of your other threads mentioned POP and how much you love it. Why not stay there if you can get a room, and save the Poly for another trip when you could get a discounted room there.

Staying at 3 resorts seems way too hectic a way to spend a vacation. I'd suggest 2 resorts if you want to change. I also think you are answering your own question about whether going to New Orleans and wdw in July is too much. In my view, you'd be worn out with all that traveling with kids.

OT - Just curious where in Michigan you live since I live in NW Indiana, very near the Michigan border.

I'm unclear whether it will cost you more if you switch your flight. If you can save money by going a day earlier, then do that. If it costs more, then don't. I do have to agree that you shouldn't split a stay between three resorts. I would do 2 resorts--2 at Poly and 6 at POFQ though if you're going to New Orleans later this month you might want to try to do WL instead of FQ. Could you do WL for the entire trip?

Sure, then you can meet me. I am going July 19-26! But the AAA rate with tax is $279-280ish.

I don't know if it would be worth it to change it though.

I personally won't pay extra on my air fare unless I had to.

You might be able to change your resort, but availability for your travel dates might be problem
