Do you think Columbus Day weekend will be crazy?

Ugh, not used to planning trips around the school calendar, LOL.

Columbus Day is Fri, Oct 7th. We won't be staying on-site so no fotl and with 5 yr old ds, we're not interested in HHN.

Thinking about arriving before parks open on Sat & Sun and leaving by 1:00. (It will be our 3rd short trip this year, so we don't have to do everything, and we did this a few weeks ago and it was great.)

columbus day is monday oct. 10.
i will be at a onsite hotel at universal for that weekend.

friday the 7th thru monday the 10th.
doing the parks during the day and hhn during the night. main reason i come in october is for the hhn event.

check the hours on the universal website.
universal studios closes at 6 and island of adventure closes at 5 during the days hhn is to be happening.

I think anytime there is a holiday the crowds will be there. I was there on Columbus day a few years ago and it was more crowded.
