Heck, even my 10 yr old son talks in disney speak. His teacher asked for "real world" examples of math problems, and my son brought in DVC charts, shoing how many points we have, and how we can spend them.

When DW and I were down last, we took a tour of BLT. They did a trivia quiz. Everyone in the room looked at us kind of funny when they asked us all to write down all the DVC resorts and we were done so fast. Our paper read "OKW, BWV, SSR..." We unfortunately missed AKV, where we were staying at the time (a duh... moment), but we enjoyed rattling them off the rest in "code"!
Only for AKL or CBR. I've done it often enough and had people say, "What? What did you say?" that I have mostly broken that habit, but I still catch myself (or get caught) doing it on occasion.
I have written abbreviations. I was asked, "What is wuh wuh ta bam?" It took me a second to figure out what he was saying before I realized he was reading "WWTBAM" but I was able to answer the question after a couple beats.
Speak the usuals (ADR, DVC, AP) but write it a ton. Whenever friends ask me for input on their trips I always start the email with a "key" listing abbreviations and their meanings-takes too long to write everything out!
