Do you talk baby talk

I baby talk some. I call my dog Muffin a lot for some reason. She gets so excited by it, it's hard not too . I can't stand people who baby talk actual babies though

I do this with my dog - baby talk plus singing (and adding her name into songs). She a mush and it's really hard not to fall for her puppy eyes and be all sweet with her.

I don't do with with actual human children / babies, though.

Poor cat. I never talked such nonsense to my kids.

Yes, yes I do, with the dogs, with the cats, and with the kids when they were babies.

Are you kidding? I have a 3mo old and a 6mo kitten!! I sound like a babbling IDIOT around them!!! My older cats and my son look at me like I got a lobotomy!!

I refused to talk baby talk to my kids, as I thought it was ridiculous.

But I do it all the time to the kitties.

I also "converse" with them all day.

"Well, Bailey, it's time to start the laundry."

"Tessa, let's watch some TV." "Sophie, the kids are home."

"Kitties, I have lots to do today."

Hey, I'm the only one here all day...I have to talk to somebody!!

I do all of the time...and I have a 60 pound english bulldog (Stompy) and a 65 pould coonhound (Laurel) - both rescue dogs that have been totally spoiled since coming to live with us.. my Stompy is laying next to me on the couch as I type this and I just turned to him and said "whos my baby....etc" it is quite amusing and my hubby said he loves that I talk to them like they are my human babies....

Yes, I do! Both dogs get a different voice. Its only a problem when I'm out in public with the kids and we start talking like our pets.

Of course baby talk!
The only time my DH gets a little nauseated is when (just to annoy him!) I call my little dog "Precious Cuddles"~
