What one and does it actually make a difference?

I'm particularly interested in ones that help with belly bloating.
I go to the bathroom regularly if not too regularly lol.
I always find that my stomach seems bloated and makes a lot of digestive noises.
I don't have any diagnosed medical conditions although I think I may have IBD.

There are just so may out there and vary so widely in ingredients and CFU's.

Just wondering if you take probiotics what is your go to?

I think I may have IBD.
You should see a gastro doctor.

I take Nature Bounty Probootic 10. I only take it in conjunction with antibiotics.

Some of the web advertised prebiotic are selling snake oil

Changing your diet may control bloating more then taking a pill.

Edited to day prebiotic was an auto correct error.

Been to a GI they told me it was nothing...

Not sure what about my diet to change since I eat pretty healthy (fruits/veggies/lean meat) and drink 120oz of water a day and don't often have soda or juice etc.

Yeah I don't think I need one that has prebiotics (aka fiber) because I feel like I get enough in my diet.

I agree. A relative at Christmas mentioned some beverage they drink that contains a prebiotic and had never heard of those. Had no idea of the difference between a pre/pro biotic and have never taken either. Looked around online after the Holidays and most reputable medical sites indicated there is no real evidence they are good for you or do what they supposedly claim. I think this is another example where they get away with their marketing claims by calling it a 'supplement' which has different/less stringent regulations. I do laugh when you read the fine print on any of these products and they say '......has not been approved by the FDA to treat/cure/prevent any illness'..............which is basically legal mumbo jumbo that says their health claims are bogus.

I think you should ask your doctor before taking anything for some medical issue rather than what you read online or see in an ad on TV.

I use Align probiotic on doctor recommendation. That brand is made by a major company in health products, P&G. I feel comfortable in taking it, no side effects. I purchase from Costco when on sale, 52 cents a day, one capsule.

The evil of auto correct, it insisted I meant prebiotic.

Dairy including milk or cheese?

I eat dairy products including milk, cheese, Greek yogurt.
I am not lactose intolerant and those items do not seem to bloat me more or make me have diarrhea more.

A doctor or nutritionist might give you better advice then Disney fans. Review all your medications and supplements.

I only take a prob...when I'm taking antibiotics. I don't observe any changes when I'm taking it. Try the one I mentioned. No real downside

I've had more success drinking a kombucha a week vs taking a daily probiotic. I buy the brand with the lowest amount of sugar and drink half one day and the other half later.

I do ocassionally. Sometimes I'll get some of those Activia yogurts or drinks to sort of reset my gut. It does seem to help a lot, though not right away. I don't know if the "porbiotics" are a bill of goods - maybe any yogurt would work. I tried pills once, but didn't notice that they did much.

I drink Health-Ade Kombucha 2x a week. I think it helps a little.

Look at the ingredients of your yogurt. If it contains Stevia or chicory root these can cause the bloating and other intestinal issues.

While you may not have more bloating or increased diarrhea after consuming dairy products, trace amounts can cause the issues especially if you have chicory root or Stevia from the ingredients. Chicory root and Stevia kill my digestive system, and Stevia also makes my mouth and throat to start itching.

Andrew Lessman Friendly Flora, can buy direct from his site, Amazon, or HSN. Made in the USA (Henderson, NV), no fillers.

I have a very temperamental stomach and I am prone to digestive imbalances. I take 2 Plexus probio's every evening.

I also take turmeric, ginger, magnesium, and a general multi-vitamin. The turmeric and ginger help with nausea.

The Plexus probio is the best I have tried.

If I fail to take any or all of these supplements my digestive system is not happy.
