Do you take park breaks in the fall

We seem to just wing it. If we have gotten a lot done and kids seem tired, we head back to the hotel for a bit. If they are fine, we keep going. We do usually have breaks on AK, HS and water park days - we will take a break before MNSSHP, but otherwise I agree that with the shorter hours and transportation timing - I don't force a break if it doesn't seem needed. We do try to schedule our TS meals for lunch rather than dinner to give us a mid day break from the heat.

When we went in Sept. 2011 we took breaks every day. We were up at the crack of dawn to be on the first bus to each park every morning for rope drop, and I was on medication at the time that made me incredibly drowsy, so the afternoon break was a must.

I take breaks if I am going to stay late even if its not hot. I am usually up early for rope drop and I need to just go lay down for a little bit. Then I get a rest, a soda and come back to finish the evening.

No we have not taken breaks on any of our fall trips. We usually try to have a late table service bkfast, or early lunch, and use that as our break time.

We have had young kids on our trips, but they usually only need a break on about day 5 of our trips. We just love to spend all the time we can in the parks

Since it won't bring brutally hot in November when we travel.....is there still a need to take a break from the park? MK closes at 10 pm, HS 8 pm etc

Only if someone in your party legitimately needs one. I can't wait until my kids are older and we can just go until we drop at the end of it all.

You better believe it. I couldn't never do WDW and enjoy myself by making every hour of every day about the parks. Just not mine or my fiancé's style. We lounge around the GF, enjoy nice long dinners at signature restaurants, go get messages, play mini-golf, rent boats or she will go shopping why I do a quick round of golf. All in combination with visiting the parks, I love the parks (more than her in some ways) but I could never only do the parks and enjoy myself. Breaks are great anytime of the year. It's called Walt Disney World Resort not Walt Disney Theme Parks

I know will we tour different to some degree (less long dinners) once we have children but their will still be plenty of breaks from the parks.
