Do you swallow your pills whole?

your pills, aspirin, tylenol etc whole? Or are you a wimp like me and need to break them up?

Yes, I swallow pills whole. Never had aproblem with gagging- think it's because I have such a big mouth!!

Whew....I didn't know what to expect from that subject heading!

I not only swallow pills whole I can usually do it without water! Comes in handy sometimes.

But I'll brag on DD. She has to take a pill every morning (she's 3) and it isn't a nice flavored one. She just chews it up and washes it down and never complains. She impresses the heck out of me!

I have no problems swallowing pills now, but when I was younger, my mom would place the pill in a spoon full of applesauce and I'd just swallow the whole spoonful. Works like a charm...it just slides down your throat with the applesauce and you never get that awful "stuck pill" feeling in your throat.

I could not swallow pills at all when I was a kid. Once I got to high school and had really bad cramps, I always had to take liquid Tylenol. Ugh! Tasted horrid!!! I finally was able to swallow very small pills by the time I got married. I still had trouble swallowing any large pills, but I learned that they go down very easy with milk. I think the milk coats it, and it slides right down. If you're not a big milk drinker, chocolate milk will work just as well (and tastes a lot yummier, IMO).
