Poll coming...

ETA - I don't wear either because its easier to pick up guys... J/K!!! No really, I can't wear mine because since I've lose weight, they are to big. DH keeps yelling at me to get them sized down, or whatever, but I'm not in a rush, I still have about 20 more pounds to lose!

I never bought my wife an engagement ring. We both agreed that we'd rather keep the money invested rather than on her finger. I wore a wedding ring for a few days, but my wife took it away because it was obvious that wearing any jewelry annoyed me. She wore her wedding ring until she lost it. Now she wears mine. I she loses that, I can't imagine that we'll replace it. Our total ring cost was less than $100 and that was a long time ago.

You two will be married FOREVER!!! :lovestruc My parents never wear their wedding bands/rings either... I don't think my mom even had an engagement ring! My mom DOES wear a ring she bought on her... maybe 30th... anniversary.

I wear both because I love them and work away from home, and my rings remind me of my DH. I feel naked without them, but they are the first thing to come off when I get home!

I wear both all the time and VERY rarely ever take either one off.

DH passed away in 2005.. A couple of years ago I moved my wedding band from my left hand to my right hand.. I didn't have an engagement ring because I'm not a big fan of diamonds..

Well, my wife didn't give me an engagement ring, so I voted "Wedding Ring Only". :)

No other choice ;)

I now only have a wedding band that had my engagement diamond along with the ones from my mother's ring and my grandmother's ring.
I wear no rings when home.....but always wear it when I leave the house.

I always wear both, I feel naked without them.

I also tease DH that whenever I get irritated with him I just look down at that gorgeous ring and forget why he's in trouble . I'd think he'd tell you it's the best $1,000 investment he's made :rotfl2:.

Edit: DH also always wears his wedding band, he's not a big jewelry guy, but he loves his wedding band and there's a lot of sentiment associated with wearing it.

I sadly don't wear either. When I was pregnant my fingers got so swollen I got get them off or on, then when we were in the process of moving I lost them

I wear both my engagement ring and my wedding band daily along with an anniversary ring my DH gave me a few years ago, so I wear all three daily. Now, like a PP, as soon as I get home from work, off they come. I can't stand trying to cook dinner and cleaning up while wearing them.

My DH wears his wedding band all the time. It was his dad's ring, too; and sadly he passed away when my DH was 18 and his mother wanted him to have it for our wedding :lovestruc.

My DW's engagement and wedding ring are the kind that interlock with each other so she wears them both. I on the other hand, no pun intended, can not wear my ring for safety reasons. The last time I wore it was on our DCL in July 06.

I never take them off unless absolutely necessary. I also just got an anniversary ring which I never take off either. Now DH on the other hand...;)

I need an "other" sorry LOL

I wear the band that my husband got me last year for our 15th anniversary. He ordered it from Ireland and in Gaelic the inscription reads Mo Anam Cara "My soul mate" I LOVE it.

I love my wedding ring but have it put it away right now. The setting is too high and I was always scratching everything with it.

I still wear it for special occassions but for now this one is perfect. Hopefully by Spring I will have lost enough weight that I can wear the band on my other hand once I get my wedding ring reset.

I only wear my wedding ring. It's an antique that has been passed down from my Grandmother to my Mom then to me. It is very special to me for sentimental reasons and I only take it off when I go to sleep or take a shower. DH has a simple gold band and only wears it when he leaves the house. He's not big on jewelry.

DH bought me a saphire ring when we were dating and when we got engaged, I told him I didn't need another ring. Then when I got pregnant, my finger swelled and the ring wouldn't fit. I haven't worn it since.

I do not have an engagement ring. I do wear my wedding ring all the time along with my 5 yr anniversary ring and on my other hand I wear my 10 yr anniversary ring. For 15, I'm hoping for a bracelet. ;)

DH does not wear his wedding ring for safety reasons.

I don't have an engagement ring but I did get an anniversary ring and a new wedding band last year. I wear both unless I am cleaning or cooking etc, and I wear my original wedding band on my right hand. DH never wore his wedding band firstly because he worked with tools and it is not safe to wear rings and because it was too large. He got a new band as well and no longer uses tools so he wears his all the time now.

I wear both, very rarely I'll take off the diamond if I'm having to do something that requires latex gloves, so it doesn't puncture the glove. Other than that they stay on. :lovestruc

(Probably the reason for this is I used to take off my original set that was welded together with a wrap that had emeralds and was gorgeous, but one day it went missing from my bedside table and we never found it. I'm still convinced it was stolen)

I wear both. DH wears neither. Because he's LOST IT FIVE TIMES. We're coming up on our 15 year anniversary.

I never take them off unless absolutely necessary. I also just got an anniversary ring which I never take off either. Now DH on the other hand...;)

Ditto. DH takes his off at bed time because his fingers swell at night. I never take mine off unless I'm making meatballs or some other type of food that I have to put my hands in. Otherwise they're on when I sleep, they're on when I shower. Always on.

I wear just my engagement ring becuase that is all that fits right now. Still trying to loose my baby weight. Hopefully I won't need to have it sized.

My DH wears his wedding band.

It doesn't bother him that I can't wear my band. We know we are married and that is all that matters.
