I never take off my wedding band but take off my engagement ring and wrap when I come home. My hands swell at night too.

DH doesn't take his wedding ring off either-- he has gained weight and it won't come off!

I never wear mine around the house. When I go out I wear both. DH hasn't taken his off since the day we were married 16 years ago.

I have an eight-band puzzle ring for a wedding ring, and I think I have only taken it off a couple of times in just over ten years. The first time I took it off, I accidentally dropped it, and could not figure out how to get it back together. I tried some ren faire friends, a couple of jewlers, and eventually sent it back to the ringmaker, who put it back together for a nominal fee. It's a good thing DW was present when I took it off though, otherwise I might have had some explaining to do! ;)

I never wear either of my rings. I hate jewlery. Dh wishes I would wear them once in a while but frankly I can't be bothered.

Mine got damaged so no I don't wear them. I do wear a ring I was given for our anniversary one year though. That one is only worn out to make sure it doesn't get damaged as well.

I wear both every day...they only come off when cleaning (myself or around the house).

When I leave the house, I wear both the wedding band and the engagement ring.
When I am home, I usually take the engagement right off with the rest of my jewelry (earrings, necklace, bracelet) but the wedding band always stays on!

I wear both. I've had them sized up (and that hurt! ;) ) and I will gladly pay to have them sized again (hopefully down :thumbsup2)

I love my rings. :lovestruc

I just wear my little wedding band.

I got out of the habit...years ago...of wearing my engagment ring. At first I didn't wear it b/c it was a job safety issue (I was a zookeeper). Then, I quit wearing it after my DS was born b/c I would accidently scratch him changing his diaper. Now, I CAN'T wear it b/c I've gained some weight. But my wedding band is 1/2 size bigger, so I just wear it.

Married male here... just one ring to wear.

I have an engagement ring w/o a wedding band. The ring is very unusual and we didn't want to take away from it with a band. So I had to give up my engagement ring before the ceremony and got it back when we said our vows. I never take it off. In fact, I am so lazy, I never take any of my jewelry off including my watch.

I never take my rings off except to clean them.

DH does not usually wear his. He cannot wear it at work, so he has a circle worn into his wallet from where he keeps it. Occasionally when we go out he puts the ring on and we usually joke that he's married that night. :upsidedow During our last Disney trip he wore the ring for two whole weeks. That's the longest he's ever worn it.

I sadly don't wear either. When I was pregnant my fingers got so swollen I got get them off or on, then when we were in the process of moving I lost them

That is sad.

Many years ago, within the first 2 years of our wedding, I was gardening and lost the diamond out of my ring. I went years without wearing a ring, because my band was sodered (sp) to my engagement ring. Finally, about 8 years after I lost my ring, I asked my DH to buy me a plain wedding band for Christmas because I just didn't want to go without a ring any longer. Instead, when I opened the box on Christmas morning, I found that my DH had replaced the diamond in my ring and it was whole again.

About a week ago, a friend of our DD's posted on her Facebook account that her 2 year old daughter had hidden her wedding/engagement ring. The Mom had taken it off to put lotion on. She has been looking for the ring since.

My engagement/wedding rings never come off, unless I am cleaning them. DH never, and I mean never, takes his off. I think it might be permanently stuck on his ring finger!! :rotfl:

I have had to have my engagement ring fixed- one of the prongs broke, and the diamond was loose- and those several weeks it took were so weird for me. I felt like part of my finger was missing.

I wear my wedding band, engagement ring and mothers ring always and never take them off. In my mind, they are what ties me to my husband and children.:goodvibes
Dh sadly doesn't wear his wedding band because they don't allow it where he works for safety reasons for him and for babies (he works in the factory that manufactures enfamil powdered baby formula and if something metal were to get into any of the equipment = not good).

I wish he would wear it on days off, but he says he'll forget to remove it for work:guilty:

I wear both of my rings all of the time. We've been married for 36yrs. My engagement ring has been reset a few times due to broken prong and wore down band. DH doesn't wear his wedding band because in the winter his fingers shrink and his ring would fall off his finger.

I don't wear either. I got an anniversary band for the 20th and now I just wear that.

I wear both. I have a wrap for my engagement ring, a plain wedding band, and a diamond band that was an anniversary gift from DH. I sometimes switch the bands, or wear the solitaire without the wrap....depends on my mood.
