Do You Still Ride All The Rides

Right! Orange side was one and done for me. I usually don't get motion sick at all. On that ride, I was miserable the whole time. When I got off the ride, I had to sit down for an hour or so to get my legs back and the nausea and head spinning to stop. I'm not a whimp and ride all the other rides, but That one is a Big No for me. Never again.
I didn't try the Green side because of my experience with the Orange side.

Green is very tame, give it a go next time. Still uses G-Forces, but nowhere near the same level as Orange.

If Star tours doesn't bother you, then the green side wouldn't either. It is the same type except in a smaller ride vehicle. It still is fun, but it has Zero spin so it shouldn't be a factor. I can understand having issues with he Orange side. I didn't get motion sickness or disoriented on Orange but the G-forces caused me to have breathing problems. I eventually overcame that by just remembering to breath through my mouth and deeper.

It really doesn't use real G-forces it only uses gravity to simulate G's. Actual acceleration or spinning is needed to create G-forces. Best I can tell, those pods do not move in any direction other than nose up, nose down, tilt to the ring or left to follow he path of the film.

Not sure why that would make any difference. It's a Disney created story based on an IP. It's not a reenactment of an actual Twilight Zone episode. It's no different than how they used other IP's like Peter Pan, Snow White, Mary Poppins and countless others over the last 70 years.

Not really. Never been a fan of roller coasters anyway. I did do Tianna's during my last stay, but that is probably one and done for me. It was the same with the Dwarf Mine ride, one and done.

No coaster rides for DH & I, except 7DMT - swaying cars make a difference. We do ride most of the others that don't do lot of spinning (have occasional vertigo and astigmatism). One and done for FOP, DH loves it though. Love Remy. We're lots more cautious about jerking rides at this time in life - retirement was many, many moons ago and really just enjoy being 'in the moment' while there.

I ride all the ones I ever did. I don’t like thrill rides, so I didn’t ride them as a child/teen and don’t ride them now. I am more of a dark ride fan, such as HM. I have always been prone to motion sickness as well, so I have been taking Bonine (meclizine) for decades.

I have always suffered with motion sickness, ever since I was a little child, so there is a whole slew of rides I know better than to consider, much less actually ride! Heck, I take meclizine every day just to manage the busses and monorail! I also detest rides with big drops, so even if a ride "passes" the motion sickness test, if it has a drop, I skip it. Having said that, for some reason I can handle BTMRR- it's one of my very favorite rides anywhere, so based on that I've also tried out 7DMT and Slinky Dog, and found I enjoyed them both very much (but not so much the wait... not that there was a long wait at either, I just hit them each at the right time... I was in line, on, and off SDD in 15 minutes!). I can ride Dinosaur one time, as it makes me queasy, and a couple of years ago I conquered MissionSpace green, just had to focus on the screen and close my eyes a couple of times- but I think once was probably enough. I have also given up Splash Mountain, as the last time I rode it the drop gave me a migraine (not that I enjoyed the ride, but DD was too young to ride alone, so...). I probably will never check out Tianna's Bayou, but, oh well. All in all, I feel like I am doing well as I age, although it is getting more uncomfortable to get out of some of the boat rides (IASW, PoC). I guess knowing that there will always be another Disney trip makes it easier to skip things if I'm not feeling up to them this time around!

My mom was able to do all of them even the spin rides like the teacups into her 80s (her whole life). I think I must take after my dad more than her. I don't do spin rides any more. I'll skip anything that goes backward now and some that just have too many sharp movements for me -- wouldn't do EE or Rock n Roller coaster. Simulation rides aren't good for me -- I'll skip Star Tours. Universal is a bust.

I love drop rides though like Tower of Terror and most Disney rides and many of their coasters aren't too intense. I have always like the drop sensation and still do.

I'm planning a trip to the MK in February though and should be able to do all the coasters there. I will wear Seabands and take some ginger snaps for Space Mountain, etc. I'll try Tron (haven't done that one before). 7DMT should be fine. Big Thunder Mountain would be fine, but is closed for refurbishment.

I used to prefer a place like Cedar Point instead of Disney (thought Disney while fun had rides that were a little too lame). Starting in my 50s (I'm 64 now) there are very few thrill rides I could do at Cedar Point and I so appreciate Disney as a fun theme park to go with my family. I love SeaWorld (very show based and animal exhibit based) too -- best park IMHO for a multigenerational group in Orlando).

My son cannot do the crazy ones even though he's 12. So, not bothered about the ones that are popular and have long lines. For me, WDW is all about relaxing in the resorts and enjoying the restaurants.

Do Tron and GOTG have G forces? I have a health issue that prevents me from riding attractions with G forces

Scientifically I'd have to say yes, but certainly not to the degree the MS: Orange does. Any moving vehicle that one is able to ride in, will have some degree of G force. The highest in any park anywhere would be the ones that have a very quick start up, like RnRC or any one requiring a very quick movement. Even the car you ride in to get to the parks or the planes subject one to some G force, but most of the time those G-forces are not harmful. A coaster type ride would always have some form of G force be it negative or positive force. Tron, specifically does have a very fast start, I'm not sure about GOTG.

GotG has a fast backwards start, then you are swooping quickly through space. To me it feels more like floating, but there are probably some G forces. There is a gravitational slingshot around the moon at one point that has some extra force.
