For everyone out there who knows so much much about Disney World already. Do you still buy guidebooks?

I usually just borrow a new one from a friend and note the dining ratings and such in my old one. I'll also cross out things that no longer apply, etc. I'll buy a new one if it becomes too obsolete

I have been soooo many times, but I always buy a new guide before every trip. It helps me to get excited and updates me on what's new and what changes may have occured since my last trip.

Yes, I can't help myself. I look forward to the new ones every year. Also get the trivia and hidden mickeys books. Keeps me going until my next trip. :thumbsup2

I GET ONE EVERY SINGLE YEAR, YUP :thumbsup2

BUT this year I bought the Passporter for WDW and DCL and I will just be buying the UPDATED pages from here on in.

Having bought many many different WDW books over the years, I found the Passporter to be EXCEPTIONAL. I will be using that for both my trips to WDW and DCL from here on.

If you opt for the Passporter you will agree. They also will send you monthly emails with updates as well, yup every month you get the latest and greatest news.

:thumbsup2

We stopped going for a while, so we had to get a new one. But even when we went every year, we still got one. They change a little bit, so it is always fun to read.

I've written one, and I still buy new editions of the Unofficial Guide and the Passporter every couple of years, and check out others from the library (virtually all of which are vastly inferior to the UOG and PP). Not only are they fun to read, but I also find it fascinating to see how different authors evaluate and rate stuff at WDW - the differences are occasionally HUGE!

I usually go every two years so I do get the guidebook every time because there are always changes at the World.

I do! I really don't need them, but when I buy one it means that we're officially going to WDW. Plus, it's fun to read to get excited about the trip.

I have never had one, but want one on hidden Mickeys.

Oh I just bought the most recent HIDDEN MICKEY one while I was at the AKL and LOVED it. I was kinda obsessed with it as I carried it from park to park to restaurant to restaurant to wherever I went. It is alot of fun $12.00!!! :goodvibes

I usually buy a brand new Passporter every year. Then, I will check out the new editions of Birnbaum's, UG, e.t.c out of the library and if I love 'em, I buy 'em. :teeth:
