Do you steal?

Now I am not talking about "knocking over liquor stores" or anything, and there is no need for details.

I am talking about things like, cable tv, downloading songs or eating food while shopping.

Just curious.

I take some of the oatmeal soaps from the Swan home. But then, they do give them to me, so maybe not the thief I thought I was.

I've been known to take two or three more napkins than I need at a fast food joint so I can keep them in my glove compartment for emergencies...does that count as stealing . Other than that count me as one of those terrible people who brings her own candy to the theatre.

Anything I use while shopping I pay for. I have been known to open my kleenex box before I reach the check out line in allergy season or to pay for an empty water bottle! I don't think I could steal if I wanted to. My conscience would kill me. Oh, and I can't lie either! (Now if only ds was the same way )

When I was younger, I used to take the extra buttons from dresses when we'd go shopping at the mall. LOL! Not sure why I did that.

How about moving into better seats at a ballgame?

I don't do this unless I'm moving to a wide open section; several seats open in all directions, because I don't want a ticket holder to have to ask me to move out of their seat, but DW always tells me I'm stealing when I do this !

Back when I was like 14-15 I was a bad thief... I stole anything on the military base that wasn't bolted down. Needless to say, the MP's (military police) caught me and took me to their station while they called my father from the hospital where he worked as a corpsman. I was in deep DEEP trouble! This took place in Italy and had my father not had gotten orders to move, I would have been barred from the base for 3 months, only allowed on for school with MP escort to and from school. I learned my lesson. FAST.

I guess I do. I have "tried" a few things at the grocery before buying them and I am talking like straight from the bin. Toiletries given at the resorts are not stealing. I take every item in the hospital when I leave, I've paid for them (or my insurance has). I've let my son have a few grapes before buying them.

Do I go into a store and pocket items to avoid paying, NO.

Well, there is taking water into the movies with us. And we do make photo copies of the music we use in choir. It says it's illegal. Maybe we'll all be going to copyright jail.
