Do you stay at the same resort?

We usually stay at Pop.
Back when the moderates still got the regular dining plan with free dining offers we usually stayed at Coronado. After they downgraded to QSDP we haven't bothered staying at a mod.

Our pattern has been to stay at the same place for a few trips, then switch it up. We've done the YC/BC four times in a row because we loved being able to walk to Epcot and even HS. We are now on our 2nd consecutive stay at The Contemporary because of the walkway to MK. I don't see us moving from The Contemporary until the walkway from The Grand Floridian is opened.

For the most part, yes. DH prefers BC, so we've stayed there for our last 2 trips. When we first started going, we were at AKL mostly. DS was younger then, and more into the animals. Now, the pool and proximity to 2 parks are the big sellers for us.

We stay at whatever resort is best for the trip we're trying to do, and we try to avoid staying at the same resort on back to back trips. For instance, in April we are doing a week long trip where we take things at a more leisurely pace. Because of this, I wanted convenience to the parks, a nice pool, budget friendly. We decided on CBR for the Skyliner. Decided against AOA because we did that one last trip. So, we do like to mix up the resorts we stay at and (knock on wood) don't have any "never again" resorts at this point.

We love to mix it up. Over the years, we've been fortunate enough to have tried all the WDW resort locations. That, along with our kids getting older and moving out to be on their own (we no longer focus on the monorail loop for MK), we have focused our stays with our 3 favorites - AKL, BC, and OKW. For us, it's always been part of the fun - in fact, many trips we'll change resorts during the stay. We kind of thought that 3 nights in a value and 3 nights in a deluxe almost averaged out to 6 nights in a moderate!

We tend to do split stays with one or two nights at a value or moderate then move over to an Epcot resort. We just stay in whichever one is cheaper. Lately that has been one of the all stars and Dolphin but we have stayed at every moderate, all the all stars and Pop, every Epcot resort including Swan and Dolphin. We have also stayed at all three monorail resorts and stayed at Shades of Green before it was a military resort. We've also camped at the Fort in our RV. We've also stayed at AKV. Basically I just hunt for good prices and that is where we stay. We do split stays because we drive down and get there between 1:30 and 3 and head to a park so I don't want to pay deluxe prices for that first night when we aren't in the room except to sleep.

I start off the yearly planning trying to convivence myself that a new resort would be nice. I am still aiming for a spring trip to use the Beach Club (the convenience of walking to Epcot). However, by the time I announce my plans to my husband and teenage son, they immediately ask to change to the plans to stay at the Contemporary :rotfl2:

After our June trip, we will have stayed at 7 different resorts and are really trying to mix it up here lately. We really like Port Orleans Riverside and Wilderness Lodge. Hoping to stay at Boardwalk, French Quarter and Polynesian in the coming years.

I would like to switch it up every time but over the last 3 years, the amount we have saved up really limited us to Value resorts......which I am not complaining about because we Love the POP. I think as long as we are in the Value category we will always stay at the POP unless we go for a resort that was just refurbed. Our 2021 trip will be our Honeymoon so we have already decided we are not staying Value but bumping up to a Moderate and if we really save, there is an outside shot at a Deluxe. :cool1::banana:

Creature of habit. 4 years in a row at the lovely POFQ before I tried Pop to save $. Now Pop is my go-to for the foreseeable future thanks to $ and the Skyliner!!! :thumbsup2

Lol, check out my signature and can see all the resorts we have stayed at. now that kids are older, having 2 rooms at ASMovies provides lots of space PLUS ... 2 bathrooms!!!!! Art of Animation Suites are great, but do not like the premium price. 8 or 9 day trip at All Stars, or shorter trip elsewhere? All Stars any time!!!

Since having kids, we have only stayed at POR. We tried to switch it up and stay in CBR a couple trips ago. But, when we checked in, the air conditioner was leaking all over the floor and not keeping up with the heat and the resort was full so they moved us to POR...lol. The kids love POR, but they have nothing to compare it to. I would love to stay at BC or YC, but they are always a bit out of our price range.

We own DVC and mostly stay at BLT (our home resort). However, we have also tried:

Poly (multiple times)
Kidani (multiple times)
WL
GF (multiple times)
OKW (multiple times)
SSR
BC (multiple times)

We really enjoy riverside and old key west. We spend a lot of time at each resort, but we sure do exploring and going to different hotels.

I really like to mix it up, but DH found BWV.

I had to last minute change our resorts as DD had to change her Marine boot camp date. I changed the Poly to a studio at BWV. We checked in really late and were upgraded to a 1 Bd Villa. It was a huge upgrade and we were so excited.

Now DH is hooked on 1bd Villa's and loves the BW area. We love the space, laundry and kitchen.

I finally got DH to switch it up to BCV and split with Coronado towers.

Prior to buying into DVC, we have stayed at most fo the resorts at least once. We gradually moved to a short list of the ones we enjoyed the most. When we purchased DVC, it was the 2 resorts we enjoyed the most. Never regretted it.

We've loved all the places we've stayed...I mean...c'mon! What's not to love when you're at WDW!?!?
We like to mix it up too. For the most part you can't go wrong because they each have their charm. Very excited for our next stay at 2 resorts we haven't tried yet- BC & Poly. We've visited previously but this time they will be home :)

We mix it up...I'm not sure if we'll ever make it to all of them, but we're not dead set on any 1 resort either. Kinda depends on budget, availability, who all is going etc. These are the resorts we've stayed at by order of preference, but minus CBR, we'd be happy to return to any.

BLT
CR
YC
POFQ
POR
ASMo
Pop
ASSp
CBR

We are definitely a mix it up family. Over the years we have stayed at every resort we have been interested in and have now started visiting ones we enjoyed previously. If it were up to me, I'd do every trip at the GF. But, I have 4 other people in the family to consider. :p
