Do you sleep with the phone in your room ?

I dont when my husband is not on shift . Our phone rings all the time for our son, no matter how much we ask them not to call after 10 pm . We do kep at least 1 of our cell phones on and by the bed at night just in case our DD needs us .
He is on shift tonight and he called at some point when I was in the shower . I called him back and the 1st thing he says is " why didnt you have the phone with you ? what if something had happened to me ?" what is up with him tonight ??? Men .... they say we have PMS

I sleep with my cell phone beside my bed. I use it as my alarm clock. We don't have a landline.

I cancelled my landline too. The only people that call that number, don't know me. My daughter has her own phone and if she loses sleep at night, it's on her. I don't hear it ring at night though so she mustn't get many calls.

I use my cell phone as my alarm clock too. It's never far from me.

Yes, I have a landline phone next to my bed. The ringer is off - it's only for dialing out. I feel safer with it there.

My landline is in my room so that is always on- my cell I shut off when I get home from work- if anyone wants me badly enough they have to call my home number.

I have a land line directly next to my bed. I being along my cell if dh is away on a trip, all I need to do is call 911, they can listen after that.

i have a landline next to my bed. corded phone, in case the power goes out and i need to report it. when DH works nights, i sleep w/ my cell phone by the bed so he can call me when he gets close to home at 4:30 am-i have to get up and turn off the alarm and the house phone would wake up DD.

Yes, and the darn thing rang twice last night between 3 and 4 am. But, my MIL is elderly and DH is the detective for a small police dept, so he is on call much of the time.

I keep my cellphone by the bed because I use it as a backup for my alarm clock. If the power goes out the regular one won't wake me up.

I do have a land line only because it was cheaper to get the line and DSL than a dry-line DSL. I have never use it but my Google Voice number rings both my cell and home phone just because I set it up like that. I have yet to use the land line in 2.5 years.

The ringer on the bedroom phone is turned off. The dining room phone and cordless one in the living room have the ringers turned on. My cell phone is in my purse, and DH's cell phone is on the bathroom counter recharging while we sleep.

The only time I take my cell phone to the bedroom, is when DH is out of town for work.

i sleep with my cell phone on my bed. yes, on, not next to. its the only clock i have in my room, plus i use it as a light when i go from my light switch to my bed in the dark.

both of our cell phones are by our bed. i feel safer that way, in case there is a family problem, we can be reaches.

Normally keep my cell next to my bed ever since we had an intruder. Thats when it dawned on us we had no land line in there.

I don't sleep with my cell in my room (no landline). My daughter can't get out of the co-sleeping habit so it wakes her up if someone calls or texts.

I sleep with my cell on next to the bed...my dh is a LEO so it he has to be near a phone 24-7.

I sleep with my cell phone off and in my room if my DFiance is home.

But, if he's not home or someone I care about is making a long drive somewhere I leave my phone on.

OMG are you serious?? I would be VERY cranky if anyone called me and woke me up at 430 every day! Can't he just shut the alarm off himself without having to wake you up to do it???

We have a house phone in the bedroom with the ringer turned off. It's there if we need it, but won't wake us up if we want to sleep late (I usually do).

There's nothing that we really need to know that can't wait until we're up. If we're expecting a critical call, we can always turn the ringer on and/or take a cell phone in with us.
