Absolutely closed due to fire safety.

Yes closed! Fire safety always! It also makes sense for noise & darkness for us but everyone in the house’s door is closed.

That’s also why mine is closed. Have 2 cats! They play at night too much! They’re locked out lol! Dogs sleeps in the room with us, but they actually sleep!

Well, mine does that too, though only breifly. If I closed the door though, all I'd hear is the sound of a paw reaching underneath and rattling it all night!

We've tried to ignore him but he'll go on for hours. Our other cat never made a peep at night.

Open just enough for the cats to get in and out. I would get no sleep if I closed the door on them.

Closed. There is a streetlight right in front of the house and with the door open the room is too light to sleep.

I understand the fire safety of a closed door, but just never slept with the bedroom door closed. When we remodeled, project manager was surprised we didn't want a lock on the bedroom door. We no longer have pets, but the door is open. But there ARE 5 smoke detectors within 25 feet of my bed, and I hope that will keep us safe.

Open because I also have 2 cats that don't like any door closed in the house. I would get absolutely no sleep if it was closed and the door and carpet would be completely destroyed.
