Do you sleep in your magic band?

We received our magic bands in the mail yesterday, and last night I dreamt we took the bus from Coronado Springs to MK in time to be in line for rope drop, but when we got there we realized we left our magic bands in the hotel room! So I went back with the kids, and got ours, but forgot my husbands, and then he had to go back. It was a mess. Just a silly dream.

But now of course I'm nervous about forgetting our magic bands! So do you leave then on your whole trip- through showers, Swimming and sleeping? Or do you just remember to put them on before each park/restaurant visit?

I leave it on the whole trip. The rest of my family take their bands off for swimming, showering and sleeping.

I do not leave it on but put it in something i cant forget. Near my wallet, attached to my bag, on my drink cup, in my shoes. These are things i must do in the morning.

With that said, i have quickly left the room without it at least once a trip but never left it when everyone was leaving the room. Its no different then home. Its food, money and key for the trip.

I take it off when I am showering, but I leave it on for sleeping, just in case anything happens at night.

I take mine off just like I do my Garmin tracker at home.
Sit it with my other jewelry and put it back on in the morning.

DH leaves his on 24 hours a day for the entire time we are there.....usually 2 weeks.

I don't sleep with it on, but at night I make sure that all of our MBs are in one place in the room (usually that little shelf that's close to the door in most Disney resort rooms). I'm banking on the hope that at least one person in our family will remember to grab them! My kids are usually excited to put them back on in the morning, so we've never had a problem. (Fingers crossed!)

What would happen in the middle of the night that you need your band? Just curious.

Ours all come off before bedtime, piled together on the dresser. Then we all put them on as we're getting ready to head out in the morning. And we just make a habit of doing a "band check" as everyone's walking out the door.

i sleep with my fitbit on because it tracks my sleep so i will probably just leave my magic band on as well...showering i take it off.

I suppose if the fire alarm went off or the hotel had to be evac'd for some reason, etc.

Not the OP, but I'm guessing it refers to an emergency or fire alarm that would have someone leaving the room in a hurry.

I always wash my face and brush my teeth just before bed, so I just leave mine next to my toothbrush and put it back on while I'm brushing in the morning! Never forgot mine.

We take them off when we get back to the resort at night and put them back on before we head out each day. I bring a small box/bin that we leave on the dresser and is only for magic bands. I check it before we leave to make sure it's empty, also do a check by the door everyone is wearing one when leaving.

I couldn't sleep in one. I always took mine off when in the room. To me it's just like staying in any hotel, you always make sure you have your room key/card/whatever with you before you head out. Magic Bands are even more important since they are your access to pretty much everything you're there to do: room, possibly pool at some resorts, parks, FastPass+, food if you're on dining plan, even purchasing things to charge back to the room. They're such a huge part of the experience that I don't think I would have ever forgotten mine.

I like the idea of putting them in front of the room door (in the box) or linking them together and hanging them on the room doorknob. That would surely keep anyone from forgetting them.
