do you salt hamburgers?

I add in garlic salt into the hamburger mixture before forming them into patties.

My husband is a freak and likes to mix Dale's Sauce with salt and LEMON PEPPER and knead it into the hamburger meat before he pats out the patties. He also likes to sprinkle lemon pepper on the steaks as they are marinating. As disgusting as it sounds, it adds a little zip. It did take some getting used to, though.

I do not put salt on any of my food, and I don't cook with it either.

I salt and pepper them as I'm cooking them - whether on the grill or on the stove.

YES, garlic salt or seasoned salt while cooking. Boy, they sound good....tonight I am having burgers.

We use garlic salt and onion salt on our burgers and steaks. I like to season the fries I cook at home the same way. I also will add the same to BBQ sauce to make ribs or chicken. Ok, I am hungry now....need food...:teeth:

We use "Nature's Seasonings" on everything - chicken, pork, beef, "garlic" bread - it is by Morton's I believe and it has a bright blue lid. It's the one thing that we make sure to never run out of...

No salt anywhere, thanks. The only place I like salt is on french fries.
Glad to see I am not the only one. :o

I have friends who get their food at a restaurant and then begin salting the hell out of it before they have even taken the first bite. How do they know it even needs salt?

Never. I marinate the patties with garlic and lemon pepper. seasoning.
