Do you remember your first posts on the DIS?

I remember meeting someone on the boat going across bay lake. She had a lime green ribbon on. I think her name was bouncy one............she mentioned get flamed once on the budget board because she was bringing in her own microwave! No flames from me..........however you can save a buck when you are talking a family to disney sounds good to me!

It was on the resorts board just after I returned from a stay at WL- a few of us were constantly talking about those crickets at Wilderness Lodge!!

Bwwhahahahaha! I just did a search on my name to see what my first post was under the name "Saffron" and I found a post from May 2001 where someone tried to tell someone else they were a theif because they asked about the plastic ware at the All-Stars and I jumped in . LOL! I must have been dying to say my peace about that!

I have no clue what my first post was, it was probably about Dixie Landings on the Resorts Board in the fall of 1998.

I remember Jackie Nova Scotia, Brer Dragon, Candie and someone who posted trip reports from a sock puppet's point of view! Funny how that stands out in my mind!

I lurked for many months just prior to my first stay at the Dolphin. I was trying to gather info on the resort.

I got enough courage to post on the RB after I returned from the Dolphin to share my excitement regarding my stay. Dreamflight's thread was so welcoming. I still regularly post there and have made some wonderful cyber friends as well as being an initial member of a S/D sorority.

Mine was on the cruise board, annoying people with stupid questions then posting a horrible story about how "rotten" my cruise was. I've since grown up quite a bit

Blondie, you just made me LOL so hard about the "sock puppet" trip reports!! I totally remember them! Also, whatever happened to Candie? I thought she was made a moderator at one point.
Funny what things you remember.

I know my first posts were on the resort board as that has always been my main interest as far as planning a WDW trip.

What about Dave from the Frozen North or something like that the posted great and funny trip reports? I remember everyone asking whether he was a writer or not and how I wanted to write a trip report that was as good as his. LOL I made it as far as one installment of my trip and gave up!

I rememeber my first posts...I was on the Resort board as I was planning a weekend trip to WDW. I was taking my mother down for her birthday. I had been reading for quite some time, but that was my first set of posts.

My first community board post was The Official Help FatCow and Jungle Skipper find their own Disney Princesses' Thread. That was fun, seems to have disappeared though.

The only stupid question is one that isn't asked but that's JMHO.




My first posts were on the DVC board. My cousin posts on the DIS and he told me to check the DVC forums out before we made the leap to purchase.....I stayed on that board for a few weeks until I realized there WERE other forums here!

My first posts were on the Debate board, but I also visited other boards. The main topics on the DB were the war in Iraq (I still see that we have found no WMDs , looks like I was on the right side of that debate), gay marriage, religion, and abortion.
