I was just out to dinner with a bunch of people, and we were all laughing because we remember our Cabbage Patch kids' names from the 80's! For some reason they just stick in your head...

Mine was Jelina Emilina. I remember my little brother had one of the preemies - his name was Carmine, like a little mafia baby.

My husband even had one - his name was Girard! :rotfl:

What were your Cabbage Patch Kids names? :hyper2:

Lila Nettie!

OMG, what a blast from the past!!! :teeth:

Giles (I can't remember his middle name). He was a preemie with one little tooth showing :)

Dennis Marc. He is bald and wears a red corduroy jumper.

Mine was Elisabeth Jane... when I was young I was obsessed with the name Elisabeth (it's my mom's middle name) and I finally chose it as my confirmation name. And Jane is my aunts name so when my grandma saw one named that, she had to get it! And guess what, I still have her! She has long yellow hair in pig tails.

Mónica Verónica... seems I liked things that rhymed. I still have mine, not with her original clothes though.

No because I always renamed them! I renamed one Joshua...but I don't think he was a genuine CP. My parents bought him in Canada. I collected them until I was 8 or 9.

I don't remember her name, but I know I didn't like it. I kept changing it. She went from Jessica to Veronica to Melissa, and I can't remember anything after that. She had some weird name to being with.

My cabbage patch is currently sitting on my bed in my parents house. Her name was jenny. My sisters doll with the yellow braids on the the next bed is Sally Jesse. My sister really liked sally jesse raphael :flower3:

Oh, gosh...I do. The strange things that are rattling around in my head.

Kimberly Patrice

Jennie Megan (except, Megan is usually pronounced like "Megg-in" but hers was "May-ginn" and I don't know why, I hate it when people pronounce my name like that!)

Dorrie Herrietta-my first she was regular size with brown hair and violet eyes
Darcy Maybelle-my preemie
Elliot Drew-my boy
Khrystena Marisol-my cornsilk haired girl

And yes....I still have them all ;) but I've lost their 'adoption' papers over the years and still remember their names. My kids play with them now.

DS had "James". DD had Netta Fanny and "Regglie" She was a 'regular cabbage patch doll! LOL. (she named her!!). She probably had more but those are the ones I remember. DS had one of the animal ones too.

Benjy Adam or Aidan or some such...........I renamed him Isaac John..........never got a "kid" one, he was a preemie. I still have him, my kids have played with him. My son got a rough'n'tough kid, but I forgot his name.

Well...I was totally against them in the 80's but once I had a daughter I knew she had to have one. Dd adopted one from Babyland General in Cleveland GA and named her Sarah Elizabeth. Sarah has even been sent to summer camo for cleaning and repairs. Dd does not play with her very much because she cost too much to get messed up!!! LOL!!
