Do you remember your Cabbage Patch doll's name?

Okay I had 3 and adopted more as time went off from Flea Markets. The 3 original were:

Marcy Jacqueline(my first)
Armstrong Frederick(he went by Army)
Esther (can't remember her other name)

I still have several of mine in storage.

OMG! We searched through EVERY doll in the store, and found one with the first name Melissa. (That's DD's name - she was a year old at the time) and we wanted one with her name. Can't remember what the middle name was, something weird - Galinda or some such :rotfl:

DD(now 13 - don't tell her I told this) still has her 'Melissa baby' in her room somewhere. :sunny:

The names I remember are:

Iris Edie
Skip Milton
Olivia Charleen

Bart - my Koosa

Hmm, I had many CPK's, but can't remember all of the names or any of the middle names. The only first names I remember are Denise (my very first CPK), Noah & Sally. I still have the special edition elf CPK, it's actually at my Mom's house (I think) or I'd look to see what his name is. :)

I bought a cabbage patch doll for my Mom (she loved collecting dolls)when they first came out and its name was Melissa. We both loved the name so much that she said if I ever had a girl I should name her Melissa, and thats exactly what I named my dd 16 years ago!

Sandi Carmel and I still have her! She was a gift from my DSis and every year on Sandi's "birthday", my DSis would mail her a birthday card. Yeah, my family does stuff like that. :upsidedow I often wondered if our mailcarrier was curious as to when we'd added another member to the family! :rotfl:

My Cabbage Patch baby was Ernie Reg. I got him when I was 5 and I was adamant about getting a boy doll. The yarn hair on the girls freaked me out plus the little bald boys reminded me of my baby brother at the time. Ernie even had the same blue overalls as my little brother.

I can't recall their middle names but mine were names Agnus and Kitty Cleo. Kitty Cleo came with purple glasses that I haven't seen in line a decade. I still ahve their origional outfits and vever took their hair out of their origional styles. I also had one of the Coosa's their pets. I named him Duffy, but don't know if he came with a name or not.

My mother had a little boy in a red sailor suit named Casey. And my brother had a boy named Ricky who never had a diaper or pants on.

While helping DH go through his late mothers belongings in storage we uncovered her Cabbage Patch Twins. Tehy called them the Irish Twins. We also uncovered their birth certs. The only name that I remember is Paige. But both are still in their origional matching green velvet outfits.

I had (well, still have) a girl and a Russian boy, but can't remember their names. :confused3

I had a preemie, too. His name was Webber Herbie. Sadly, Webber was kidnapped from my school locker.

This Christmas, my DD got one with a cute name: Shelby Barbie.

The only name I remember is from my first cabbage patch doll-- Rusty. He had red hair like me and I had always wanted a little brother. My mom saved all our c.p. dolls, we probably had 3 or 4 each, but he's the only one who's name I can recall. Its funny that they've made such a comeback, I had fun this christmas picking out dolls for my nieces.

OMG! I totally remember my Cabbage Patch Kids names. The names that came with the two girl dolls I had I kept, but the boy's name was just not gonna happen so when I sent in the adoption papers I changed it.

Barbara Glynnis - red hair with two braids, green eyes (my first one and I was soooooo happy to have her)
Marcellina Renee - blond long straight hair, blue eyes (got her for christmas)
Christopher Thomas (originally Buck Henry) - bald, brown eyes (got him because I had my tonsils out)
Tomasina Jenise - long brown curly hair, blue eyes (she is an original, not one of the massed produced that you can get at the toy store. I got her at one of the original nuseries and its signed by Xavier, not stamped. I actually still have this one out. I keep her in the sweetpea's room.)

I remember having all the accesories that went with them too. The stroller, car seat, bottles and what not. I used to love them soooo much. Wish they were more popular for little girls now. And not those hoochie bratz dolls.

I had 2. The first was a bald little boy in a pinkish courdroy suit named Burton Cromwell and I think he is still in our basement actually. The second was a red haired girl named Marjorie Maxine, I think. Not sure what happened to her. I used to love how Burton's head smelled like baby powder.

Carita Melody was her name. :)

It's funny, I can't remember what I ate for dinner last night, but I remembered the dolls name instantly when I saw this thread!

I still have my first one but don't remember her name. The papers are here somewhere. I probably have around 50 original CB, in boxes w/papers. I used to collect so I didn't play with them. My boys are in no way interested in dolls unless they look like Power Rangers. Keep thinking I might try to EBAY as they take a great deal of room to store. It feels like I am trying to to rid of my kids, so far can't do it. :rotfl:

My Cabbage Patch Doll's name was Lisa Marie. My daughter's Cabbage Patch Doll's name is Hap Sergio. :teeth:
