I was reading a thread asking if you wear ponchos. It brought back memories of the "Disney Yellow Ponchos". I get a good chuckle when I recall those days of seeing a sea of yellow in the parks. With all the tremendous thought that goes into getting the details just right, before Disney does something, I have to wonder who stepped out of the room, for coffee, while the others made a quick decision. I'm glad that person came back into the room, after traveling down to the foothills of Brazil for their coffee (Albeit years later), made a command decision to change the ponchos to clear ones.
I know that this makes my daughter and I very happy. A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away when she was six years old, we became separated in this sea of yellow unbeknownst to either of us. After going on about three rides, I realized that wasn't my daughter holding my hand, but some woman that got separated form her family.
Anyway, we were able to make the swap. I got my daughter back and the woman was reunited with her own family. It just goes to show that this is, "The Happiest Place on Earth"...
A big
for the clear ponchos.
Note: No more ponchos for us.

) But I remember when we got home we would wear our ponchos around the house because we loved them so much cause they had Mickey on them! I asked my mom if she still had them, she didn't, but I wish she did! We have the clear ones now, but I miss those!
