a girl & guy, maybe sister/brother, in their 20's, who worked at an antique shop. It used to belong to an old man who died & I think he left it to them. Some of the antiques had mysterious qualities, kind of evil. If someone bought one of the objects by accident, bad things would happen to them & the girl & guy had to try & get it back & then lock it up in the attic. It was a pretty good show, probably on about 15 or more years ago.

My nephew just mentioned a show to me - Warehouse 13 on SyFy (formerly SciFi) that sounds pretty good & it reminded me of that old show.

Anyone remember the name?

I believe it was Friday the 13th

Lewis Vendredi made a deal with the devil to sell cursed antiques. But he broke the pact, and it cost him his soul. Now, his niece Micki, and her cousin Ryan have inherited the store... and with it, the curse. Now they must get everything back and the real terror begins.” -- prologue that opened each episode

That was it. Thanks. How'd you know that so fast?:goodvibes Good memory.

I love Friday the 13th: the series.

Chiller channel started rerunning them daily, I think it was last year. I rewatched the entire series and it was awesome. Occasionally there will be a marathon on Chiller or Sci-Fi (now SyFy for some reason). It was one of those shows that I used to stay up late on Saturday nights to watch as a tween.

I hated name change to SyFy. I kind of remember USA or another cable channel showing Friday the 13th a long time ago.

yep, it was "Friday The 13th The Series". i LOVED that show! there's a new one on SyFy (what a stupid name! they need to go back to Sci-Fi) called "Warehouse 13" that is somewhat similar. DH and i watched it Tuesday night-it was pretty good.

I read they changed the name to SyFy to get more female viewers. Yes, as soon as I heard that name I ran to my tv & haven't changed the channel since. That name is sure to bring in the female viewers, it makes so much sense. Now if that had named it George Clooney network, nah, that wouldn't draw women.
