A coworker and I were talking, and don't ask me how, but we got on the subject of paper plates. He said that's all they use at his house, which was just so odd to me. We never, ever use them unless we're having a party or barbecue or something like that (and sometimes not even then). So we started asking around the office, and out of the 19 people, I was the only one that used regular plates.
What's up with that?
(Don't get me wrong, to each his own, I don't see anything wrong with paper plates! I think growing up that my gramma thought of them as a waste of money, so I just followed in her footsteps. I doubt that, with dishwashing detergent and water and electricity, regular are that much cheaper than disposable, if at all. )
