Do you redo? (Question about your trips to WDW)

Always do Chef Mickey's for breakfast and the Rainforest Cafe on a no park day. We try to sneak in dinner without the kids at Kona in the Polynesian. Last trip we went to Cinderella's Castle for breakfast with the princesses and I think we'll do that one again when we go in Dec.

Nov 02 we went back to Chef Mickey's. We had been there Oct 01.
Nov 02 we added O'Hana's to our list.

The only restaurant that is a must do for my family is Ohanas. My kids like the food, which is a feat in itself, and we have always found the service to be impeccible. Plus, my kids love the hula hoop contests and coconut races.

We've gone several years and have been the Planet Hollywood and RF Cafe more than once. I also wanted to try something different this time, even though I did enjoy these restaurants.

We just got back from WDW on Sunday. While there, we went to the House of Blues at Downtown Disney Westside ... terribly disappointed and would not recommend it. Did not care for the atmosphere and the food was just okay.

We also went to O'Hana's and LOVED it. It was a bit pricey for what we usually pay, but was definitely a hit with everyone in the family. We also got seated next to the windows and was able to watch the MK fireworks. We will definitely be doing this when we go again next year.

Another place that I discovered on these boards was the lounge at Port Orleans Riverside. It is called River Roost and Wed-Sun (??) they have Bob Jackson entertaining. The menu is just appetizers (with a couple of sandwiches), but was more than enough selection for us to make a meal. All our food was very good and the entertainment can't be beat (free). Bob Jackson is amazing!!! This place is suitable for families and Bob has a lot of audience participation in his show ... including the kids!!

I would encourage you to revisit your favorites and then try to fit in a couple of new places.

On our trips we always try to have a mix of something new and some old favorites. Some of our favorites: Kona Cafe, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Cape May Cafe (character breakfast), Liberty Tree Tavern, Le Cellier, and Brown Derby.

We like to try different places each trip, but our DD's 7 and 10, must go to the Biergarten so they can dance with the Ompah band. We will be staying at the Poly in July, and can't wait to try Ohana's.We are thinking about trying the 1900 Park Fare breakfast, but not sure yet!!

Thanks for the info gang! But now I am hungry and the list of restaurants I want to go to is longer than ever! :D

Unless something tragic happens in February and I am disappointed at the Garden Grill it will always be on my list! I just loved it!

In Feb we are traveling w/ a toddler so I am trying to incorporate a bunch of character meals and "kid" themed places, but I will go back to Marrakesh and Le Cellier.

How old is the older DD? Maybe you could ask her if she'd like to go back to a specific restaurant. When we go we let the boys each pick one "PS" type restaurant. So far Z has always picked picked Garden Grill while J goes back and forth with Donalds for breakfast and Crystal Palace. Or if you're doing character meals ask which set of characters she wants to eat with the most.
